Machine Learning with Java/Python (offline)

Project Description:
One of the world's largest providers of products and services to the energy industry has a need to develop and support enterprise information system in Oil & Gas domain.
Product being developed is a module for interpretation geophysical data. Project is based on SCRUM methodology.
Our project is stable, long-term and constantly adopts new technologies such as newest Java and Eclipse RCP versions, cloud and GPU computing, microservices architecture and other innovative frameworks.
Work supposes close cooperation with Customer team located in Houston and following Agile principles.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and client requirements for software.
Develop intuitive software that meets and exceeds the needs of the company.
Professionally maintain all software and create updates regularly to address customer and company concerns.
Analyze and test programs and products before formal launch.
Troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace.
Ensure software security by developing programs to actively monitor the sharing of private information.
Actively seek ways to improve business software processes and interactions.
Aid and support the coaching and training of other team members to ensure all employees are confident in the use of software applications.

Mandatory Skills:
5+ years in Java development.
Strong Java Core knowledge.
Experience with desktop development (Swing, SWT or Eclipse RCP).
Experience working with machine learning algorithms, familiar with library such as Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch, etc.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
Professional program certification in Java.
Experience developing software utilizing various coding languages including Python, Java, C++, PHP and more.
Oil&Gas domain experience is a plus.
