Java / Backend Engineer (offline)

Requirements:

• Java Enterprise server-side developers with strong Spring Boot experience.
• Long-term (6+ month) full-time alignment
• Must have the skill to analyze legacy code base and translate findings into requirements that then can code in Springboot as well as rewrite bad code into a modern microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of Python is plus
• Financial services knowledge is a nice to have
• be able to work during NY time zone (at leas few hours)


Key traits:
1) Must know how to use ORM tech (JPA or Hibernate, ie – Spring Boot's CrudRepo)
2) How to design with a testing mindset (using some type of test driven design, ie Junit or SpringRunner)
3) How to design using microservices and loosely coupled components with service gateways
4) Understand Restful and event driven design

Familarity with: Spring Batch,Spring Cloud Config, Spring Cloud Consul, Spring Cloud LDAP, Spring Security OAuth, Spring Retry
