Embedded Test Engineer for Automotive project (offline)

Project Description:

ECU for active suspension control for Vendor’s new car platform that is based on Autosar architecture and automotive-grade MCU.
Test Team works on the development of a Test solution for automated testing this ECU. They develop SIL/HIL Test Cases and Test Scripts for verification such functionalities as diagnostics, bootloader, signaling, safety features using Python and CAPL as scripting languages. For some of the tests Matlab/Simulink is used as well.

Requirements



– Technical engineering degree
– Evidence of working as a Test Engineer in safety-critical project with requirement-driven development (1 year +)
– Solid knowledge of the testing theory, HIL/MIL/SIL testing methodologies and tools
– Experience of test cases and scripts development, and writing test documentation as well
– Readiness to learn scripting languages used in the project (Python, CAPL)
– General understanding of Embedded System Engineering and ability to read electronic circuits and C-code
– English both spoken and written; Good communication skills
– Self-study ability and readyness to apply new approach or technology from the scratch
– Experience of working with and be follower of Agile/SCRUM SW development methodology
– Solid Experience with Jira and Git, passionate contributor to Project’ wiki (Confluence)
– General understanding of CI and Jenkins


Preferences

– ISTQB certificate Foundation level
– Experience of Embedded Systems Debugging
– Knowledge of Safety Lifecycle for SW development according to ISO26262
– Knowledge of Automotive Ethernet and CAN networking, MBD, Autosar Classic architecture, automotive diagnostics
– CANoe SW tool and CAPL scripting language
– Python
– Experience of automated testing in CI chain

Responsibilities

We are looking for Embedded Test Engineer with experience of working in testing of safety-critical embedded systems (automotive, robotics, medical, military, nuclear, mining, aerospace etc) with requirement-driven development.
Key responsibilities will include: requirements analysis, test case and script design, test running, and writing test documentation.
