Senior Fullstack Engineer, New products ($5K + equity) (offline)

iDeals has been delivering the best customer experience since 2008. We were able to make a competitive product and build a leading business in a crowded and highly segmented market. More than 2500 clients spread around the globe, among which there are LG, PWC, HP, EY, Deloitte, Barclays, Rothschild, inspiring us to deliver the best product in the market.

This year we have expanded our strategy, and now one of our goals is to create entirely new products. To achieve this goal, we established an independent cross-functional R&D team that intends to launch a bunch of successful start-ups within our established business. This team has been challenged with creating new global B2B products. These products are not yet generally available, so we cannot share more information publicly.

Therefore we are looking for a product minded Senior Fullstack Engineer to help us create the products that will change the way people work. We do not limit requirements of programming language experience, and instead, assume to find someone who has either a language-independent or cross-language engineering background. In addition to the regular salary, we offer stock options or cash bonuses depending on the achieved results.

YOUR EXPECTED OUTCOMES:
• You will be responsible for developing new products from concept to MVP in the shortest possible time;
• As we’re planning to build different products, the technology stack varies from project to project, so you should be ready to learn new things fast;
• As a part of the team, you will be responsible for the full-cycle development process: researching, developing, testing;
• Leverage your strengths and interests to work on full feature implementation from the front end, to the API, all the way to the back end;
• Creativity and reuse of existing services/solutions rather than investing your time;
• Quick and dirty approach — refactoring later;
• Care about technologies, explore data, user experience, and design and use all of that for user-friendly shipping products;
• Consistently demonstrate extremely high levels of technical knowledge, ingenuity, and creativity;

YOUR COMPETENCY PROFILE:
• 3+ years in software development, including as the lead developer in a product engineering team;
• You’re language-independent, or either has a cross-language engineering background;
• You’re comfortable with full-stack projects and able to build a Minimum Viable Product without any additional support quickly;
• You’re ready promptly adopt new technologies when implementing them;
• You’re a software engineer who cares deeply about user-centric product development;
• You’re a problem-solver with product mindset and the ability to create evolutionary systems;
• You have a track record of solving difficult technical challenges and anticipating technical problems ahead of time;
• You take a thoughtful approach to decision making; knowing when to move fast and when to do things right;
• You’re eager to contribute to the formulation of new or modified coding standards, frameworks, and architectures;

WILL BE A PLUS:
• Experience working with Machine Learning & AI algorithms
• Experience in cross-platform development (web, mobile);
• Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications
