Job Description
BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
2+ years of experience with Scala functional programming
Preferred experience with modern Scala libraries such as Cats and the Typelevel stack
Experience with Apache Kafka data streaming
Knowledge of big data platforms such as Apache Spark and Apache Flink
Expertise in building applications utilizing open source RDBMS/NoSQL databases and cloud warehousing solutions, such as Snowflake
Leveraging DevOps techniques for CI/CD, test automation, test automation, test driven development utilizing Jenkins, Maven, Terraform, Git, Docker, Kubernetes
Shows a commitment to quality by implementing suitable software using unit/integration and acceptance testing at the time of feature development
Owns technical debt in their own software.

Job Responsibilities
Execute high priority DEDA team data backend projects under the direction of team leadership with:
Engineering problem solving process-based approach
High attention to detail
Professional presentation
Participating in code reviews for data backend projects
