Expert C# developer (offline)
Software Developer – Offshore Location, full time long term remote job position
Chimera Capital Management LLC (https://www.chimeracap.com) is a rapidly growing hedge fund startup, specializing in hybrid data-driven + fundamental equity investment strategies.
We are currently seeking individuals with exceptional software development and communication skills who are experts in developing full-stack web applications in Microsoft’s .NET environment. We are looking for talented professionals who can rapidly produce high-quality code and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, small team environment. Successful candidates will be adept at multi-tasking and able to adapt to frequent changes in business demands, requirements, and specifications.
Primary responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and deploy full stack features and enhancements for our proprietary data analysis portal
• Devise and implement solutions to complex architectural, mathematical, and data problems
Successful candidates will have:
• 5+ years of software development experience
• Real-world .NET web development experience building scalable and robust web applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, IIS and SQL Server
• Practical knowledge of Design and Architectural Patterns
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Advanced debugging and reverse-engineering skills
• Ability to work with little supervision after initial ramp-up
• Ability to work on multiple, concurrent tasks with high attention to detail
• Ability to take evolving, incomplete requirements and pro-actively drive a project to successful completion
• Bachelor’s degree is required, Computer Science, MIS, or related engineering degrees are preferred
The following skills are helpful, but not mandatory:
• Strong background and experience with HTML, CSS, and Javascript/Typescript (strong plus)
• Experience with financial data analysis (strong plus)
• Experience with Microsoft Azure web apps and functions (strong plus)
• Database design and SQL programming experience (strong plus)
• Experience with Machine Learning
• EF/NHibernate or equivalent Object/Relational Mapping tools
