PHP(Laravel) & OctoberCMS Full Stack developer (offline)

Our website uses OctoberCMS, Laravel PHP framework and MySQL and Twig templating on the front-end, the website is reasonably new and we are looking to iterate and expand the features in order to drive sales and attract more designers to the brand.

What you will be doing:

• Creating fully responsive webpages using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Integrating with OctoberCMS
• Maintaining existing webpages
• Developing and assisting in the development of new website features
• Developing and assisting in ensuring the platform is secure
• Developing and maintaining databases
• Using Laravel to develop and maintain website plugins e.g. users plugin
• Maintaining the web server which hosts the website and all associated components.

Front-end Experience required:
• Experience with front-end web languages (HTML, CSS, JS) (4+ years)
• Experience with PHP based CMS, i.e. Wordpress (4+ year)
• Experience with PHP and frameworks, preferably Laravel.
• Good understanding of web design tenants
• A portfolio, demonstrating your web design abilities

Back-end Experience required:
• Experience with PHP using the Laravel framework
• Experience with Cpanel website administration
• Experience with Linux, Preferably CentOS (for the above)
• Experience with templating engines e.g. Twig
• Knowledge of mySQL databasing and associated technologies.
• Understanding of GitHub for version control.

• A clear portfolio demonstrating your proficiencies in all of the above requirements, with links to websites etc. if relevant.
