Data Engineer (offline)

Project Overview:

The Integration Team is targeted to architect, research, develop and maintain various developer/client APIs for digital trade bank facilities and services. The key value is to provide wise and modern interfaces in a convenient, flexible, efficient and secure way, that meets Fin-Tech requirements and follows industry best-practices.

Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in a cloud solution development;
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields;
- Strong knowledge and working experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform;
- Experience with object-oriented software design and service-oriented architectures;
- Working experience with enterprise solutions and databases, and their integration with banking or fintech solutions is a plus;
- Expertise in Hadoop stack – HIVE, OOZIE, YARN;
- Azure HDInsight;
- Able to design innovative solutions for large dataset processing;
- Should have experience with ETL using Spark SQL and Spark SQL Performance Tuning experience;
- Experience with Scala;
- Knowledge and a particular interest in issues related to Big Data, large scale distributed stream processing, real-time computation systems;
- Agile/Scrum methodologies familiarity;
- Upper-Intermediate English level is a must;
- Self-motivated, well-organized, detail-oriented and a strong team player.

Responsibilities:
- Take an active part in cloud solution design, implementation, and deployment;
- Participate in Microsoft Azure-based solution development, bugfix and maintenance;
- Develop new features for the commercial enterprise solution;
- Provide estimates for development packages;
- Resolve issues and conduct their root-cause analysis;
- Elaborate and suggest system improvements;
- Take part in overall architecture design;
- Take part in API design;
- Configure and tailor solutions in response to business changes.
