Full-Stack (React + NodeJS) Lead Developer (offline)

The company is the first monetisation platform for VR/AR, enabling VR/AR developers to place non-intrusive ads in their content and generate money instantly. We are the only fully programmatic solution for VR, AR and mobile gaming. Our mission is to empower developers to be successful by giving them the right tools to monetize their immersive content. Our top developers make $30,000 per month with us!

Our products are multiplying, growing rapidly and we are at the moment where the company needs to strengthen its technical leadership to continue scaling our products efficiently.

We are looking for someone who has broad experience in developing both front-end and back-end components for complex web systems. Systems that all have to operate under heavy load with a large number of simultaneous connections and big data sets. Someone who is ready to lead a small but growing team of other web developers in improving the existing web systems and producing new ones.


We are looking for a new team member who:
● Has developed both Front-end and Back-end components for the complex web systems.
● Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including build configuration and processes, code quality, testing practices and operations
● Preferably has solid NodeJS experience and good React understanding.
● Has over 8 years of experience in software development.
● Has over 4 years of experience working with JS stack (or TypeScript).
● Has good experience working with non-relational databases and has developed an API for them (REST, GrapQL).
● Has good English writing and communication skills.


Here are some optional skills that will make you stand out from other candidates:
● Experienced in leading a team (if not in the title, then at least in practice).
● Experience in developing SAAS platforms.
● Experience with 3D engines (Unity, Unreal)
● Experience with WebGL and displaying 3D Scenes in browsers (knowledge of three.js or similar libraries).
● Experience working in Ad Tech.
● Knowledge of Cloud systems, preferably AWS.


Some of your tasks and responsibilities will be:
● Play a key role in the design and development of the web platforms and infrastructure (including the backend, front end, and APIs).
● Closely collaborate with the other development teams to ensure a complete system design.
● Bring technical vision, a great work ethic, and a positive attitude to inspire teams and scale a business.
● Support and implement CI/CD initiatives and regularly review the infrastructure to offer optimisation/scaling options.
● Provide engineering support for production issues and general problem solving
● Mentor, coach and develop the team.
