In addition, Nordstrom serves online customers in 96 countries through Nordstrom.com and nordstromrack.com web sites and apps. Nordstrom also operates a Private Sale site and app HauteLook, responsible for providing customers in the US, Canada and Australia access to discounted high end fashion at considerable savings.

With strong shopping habits drift towards online shopping experience, Nordstrom is now looking to expand its engineering team to Ukraine and is opening a dedicated delivery center in Kiev. Initial plans include spinning up fully-operational iOS and Android teams of about 20 people and then doubling its size in early 2018. In order to enter Ukrainian market Nordstrom chose to partner with ZoolaTech, a US based company that has deep roots into Ukrainian Technology market. ZoolaTech will operate Nordstrom’s Development Center in close collaboration with Nordstrom’s technology management and delivery teams.
Initially, Nordstrom’s team will be settled in the office shared with other ZoolaTech teams, eventually moving to a dedicated facility. The team will be working on Nordstrom native application development, not limited to a particular domain, but rather being involved with the most business critical features. Although the team will run as an independent unit using Agile methodologies with co-located product owners in Kiev, it will operate in close collaboration with mobile development teams in Seattle, WA, where Nordstrom’s HQ is based. Please expect regular trips to Seattle to strengthen teams integration.

Responsibilities
Experience creating and publishing successful app(s) to a AppStore.
Writing clean, maintainable code, performing peer code-reviews and have excellent understanding of core iOS concepts
Work with other team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility
Collaborating with designers, product owners, web service developers, and other teams to produce the best applications possible.
You are experienced and happy in a fast-moving, continuous flow development environment.

Skills Required
- Experience in OO Programming
- Experience and/or interest in Test Driven Development (TDD) and agile methodologies
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with multiple mobile platforms a plus (phone, tablet)
- Proficient with Swift and Cocoa Touch
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as UIKit, CoreGraphics, Core Animation, etc.
- Experience with Unit\UI Testing
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
