Main Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and operations activities on applications
Upgrade and convert legacy applications to Ruby.
Work with business and IT teams to prioritize issues
Receive and complete tickets concerns applications function or performance
Working with cross-functional collaborative teams, helping to clarify requirements at the onset of projects and suggesting different and relevant technical approaches

Requirements
Degree in Computer Science or related field and a minimum of 3 years of software development experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in developing Ruby Web Applications
Experience in working with GIT
Experience with Javascript and JS frameworks such as Angular JS
Expert knowledge of databases (MySQL, Oracle, Postgres)
Familiar with CSS, HTML
Familiar with Ruby Gems, such as Passenger and Capistrano
A strong focus on User Interface and proper design
Ability to pivot and work on multiple tasks at the same time
Must be detail-oriented with good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Must enjoy working in a team environment and work well with a distributed team
