Big Data Architect (offline)

Now, as we grow fast and smart, Avenga is looking for a Big Data Architect to join our team on a full-time basis. You will become a member of a new department consisting of solution architects that will develop a model, standards, and frameworks for the architecture competency. This department will be responsible for delivering consulting projects, driving research and innovations, and building the company's reputation as a thought-leader of the industry.

Skills and requirements:

6+years of experience with Big Data;
Knowledge of programming languages: Java, Scala, Python;
Solid with Big Data technology: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Storm, Hive, Flink, etc;
Understanding kappa & lambda architecture;
Experience with data modeling, data integration, and business intelligence architecture;
Excellent in Cloud Stacks: AWS/GCP/Azure;
Strong knowledge of NoSQL DBs: Cassandra, MongoDB, etc;
Solution architecture: requirements elicitation, architectural tactics, and patterns, modeling languages, methods/framework for architecture design and evaluation;

Responsibilities:

Delivery of technology consulting projects (e.g. transformation strategies and implementation roadmaps, solution architecture design, technology and architecture assessments);
Participate in the early stages of the customer engagement - supporting sales, account management, presales, and engagement teams in opportunity qualification, needs assessment, solution design, proposal preparation;
Contribute to the establishment of Solution Architecture governance processes for our key solution engineering projects;
Elevate company's image in the Big Data and Data related fields, participating in conferences/webinars, contributing to articles/whitepapers, owning thought leadership for the aforementioned fields;
Contribute to the development of the company’s solution architecture design and technology consulting capabilities;
