Opportunity

Hetman is a fast-growing team of software engineers. We’re looking for someone who possesses extensive knowledge of front-end development with the focus on Vue.js.

Your first project will be in the inventory management space for a NYC based startup.

We are looking for:

Fluent English (strong written and oral skills)
Comfortable working with the EST timezone
2+ years Vue.js, Vuex
5+ years of overall engineering experience
Strong opinions on how to organize JS code: State Management, API Calls, File Structure, Naming, Routing, Security
Strong understanding of how Front-end testing should work
Working with the RESTful APIs
Strong HTML & CSS experience as well as debugging tools
Strong Git experience (preferably with Github)
Translate wires, Jira tickets & design comprehensives into beautiful web and mobile Vue web experiences
Ability to work remotely and independently within a distributed engineering organization
Strong desire to get things done
Be comfortable with iterative and incremental development.
Be willing to help your teammates, share your knowledge with them, and learn from them
Comfortable working directly with startup founders

Would be a plus:

A portfolio showcasing strong knowledge of Vue, React, JS, HTML, & CSS
Python
Redux, Redux-Saga
Working knowledge of SQL, PostgreSQL
Experience with vector graphics and animations
Full Stack Engineer, Bonus points for Rails!
