Middle Java Developer (Java 8, Angular 2+) (offline)

Project: SITE is a cloud-based SaaS solution that consists of a number of integrated modules for planning traffic to and from individual wind turbines, to provide a situational overview of wind farms, for location tracking and to monitor the exact whereabouts of employees working in and around these facilities.

As a Developer, you will play a key role in the further development and maintenance of the product together with an agile full stack Scrum team. To put it another way, you will work behind the scenes on a major product that is undergoing rapid development as part of a dedicated and self-motivated team.

Here is a taste of what you will be doing:
• Clarifying general features and requirements in close co-operation with team colleagues
• Specifying technical solutions based on requirements, user case studies, user stories, and the frameworks and architecture that are in place
• Defining and estimating the scope of development tasks together with the team
• Developing solutions and supporting the testing of the specified solution elements
• Further developing and maintaining the solution


List of technologies:
Front-end: Web (JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular2), Android
Back-end: Gradle, REST, Java Enterprise, JBoss Application server, Keycloak, Cassandra

Quality system:
Quality is controlled through an inhouse process called Feature Driven Development, where it is an integral part of the entire value chain.

Project management methodology:
Project management is governed by the adaptation of several industry standard methods into a house method called Our Way of Working. In practical terms this means that developers work with a tester, product owner and scrum master in a scrum team that produces from a backlog for a customer.

General requirements: A web focused developer with skills in client server development, who wants to be part of an agile development team that works with everything from customer requirements, design, implementation, test and deployment. Able to clarify requirements, interact and operate with product ownership.
