Research Engineer (offline)

Our Research team keen on 3D sensors is looking for a passionate Research Engineer. In this role, you’ll put your expertise as a flexible, creative engineer with curiosity and a solid grasp of math, algorithms and science. You will be working side-by-side with researchers, developers, and QAs on evolution and improvement of the product. You will be able to unleash your creativity and apply your deep knowledge of the field to deliver the best solutions to our end-users.

Responsibilities and Duties
— Participate in the full R&D cycle - from data analysis to designing prototyping, validation, and deployment of proposed solutions
— Research and validate innovative solutions
— Analyze data and user feedback in search of potential improvements
Keep current with technical and industry trends

Qualifications and Skills
— Solid background in Linear Algebra, Statistics, and concepts of classical ML
— Knowledge of 3D-related technologies
— Proficiency in Python (strongly required)
— Ability to read and understand C/C++ code
— Deep-dive attitude, curiosity, and responsibility

Nice to have
— Experience with and understanding of Deep Learning
— Understanding of low-level programming concepts (memory allocation and alignment, cache, multiprocessing vs multithreading, etc)
— Experience with Digital Signal Processing, Control Theory, Robotics, SLAM
