Senior/Lead Java Software Engineer (offline)

WE ARE

Our client is a leading global provider of enterprise infrastructure asset management software for government and private organizations. We have a team comprising 45 people from different locations. Most of the teammates from Lviv. We work in a few Scrum Teams combined with American software engineers.

YOU ARE

Proficient in leading/guiding small teams of engineers, decomposing complexity of tasks, mentoring them and backing up if needed, communicate and drive decisions
Ready to take responsibility for a development team of Junior/Middle Engineers
Proficient with Agile frameworks
Masterful in communication with stakeholders of different levels
A person with good English level (let's say Upper-intermediate)
Not afraid to ask for help when needed

YOU WANT TO WORK WITH

Software Engineers and Product Owners to design and implement best practice cross-project solutions within a structured development process
Own technical decisions from SoftServe side
Providing regular feedback to software engineers
Code review sessions
Identifying the project risk and planning mitigation action with PM at the project level
Implementing the best practices and coding standards of the project
Analyzing the project and rectify the errors found in the process
Constant increasing the productivity of the team and reducing the waste on the other end

TOGETHER WE WILL

Provide hands-on technical leadership and participate in architectural decision-making
Drive new features from inception to production, working across the company with product managers, and other stakeholders
Create and maintain the quality of software
Participate in resolution of production issues and lead efforts toward solutions
