Middle Release/Integration engineer for Automotive project (IRC95582) (offline)

SW platform: Android 8.1\9.x

HW platform: Snapdragon 820a

The scope of the project includes SW design preparing, implementation, integration and maintenance phases with following the modern industry standard for development processes in the automotive segment (Automotive SPICE).

Requirements:

- BA, MS degree in software engineering, computer science, or another related field;
- At least 3 years of experience in IT, including at least 1 year of experience in software; development, system integration or QA automation;
- Knowledge of the Linux operating system (or other UNIX-based OS);
- Understanding of Networking: network topologies and common network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, SMTP);
- Knowledge of the C/C++ and Java programming languages;
- Scripting: (must have): Unix Shell scripting, Make, Android build system, bash/python scripting
- Source control systems: (must have) Git, Gerrit
- Build, CI and CD Automation tools: (must have) Jenkins, (desired) Bamboo
- Intermediate English level;
- Experience in development/integration/testing of the embedded systems is a major plus;
- Prior experience shipping consumer-facing products using Android is highly desired;

Responsibilities

- Setup and maintain a scalable, stable set of build, test and deploy jobs for the team;
- Take ownership of core automation tools such as Gerrit, Jenkins and extend/maintain as needed;
- Participate in the analysis, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of the position tracking solution;
- Cooperate with the development and testing teams to follow up bug resolution;
- Integrate 3rd party components and Applications into Android Platform
- Prepare and evaluate software release hand-off
