Senior BI Engineer (offline)

The project is an enterprise program targeted at creating a new-gen software delivery platform with transparent productivity and efficiency, putting software development automation at the next level.

Please note that even though you are applying for this position, you may be offered other projects to join within EPAM Anywhere.

Responsibilities
Develop new data products on top of DWH and DataLake
Improve existing DB and ETL code working with MS SQL Server
Evaluate and improve existing BI systems using Engineering best practices (Automated testing, Code Review, etc.)
Collaborate with other teams to integrate with other systems, DWH, Event bus
Support of the developed functionality and troubleshooting toolset improvement
Participate in the Agile team presenting the result and improving processes along the way
Requirements
3+ years of proven experience as a DB / BI Developer
Background in data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modeling)
In-depth understanding of database management systems, ETL (Extract, transform, load) approach
T-SQL Knowledge (querying, stored procedures)
Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
Russian language is native or fluent
Nice to have
SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) is a plus
