Senior Test Engineer (offline)

Responsibilities

• Being main responsible for testing at the project and product quality
• Estimate and plan test activities in the project
• Communicate with developers on both Itera and Customer side, Customer test team
• Ongoing manual functional testing (through UI and API level)
• Perform bug tracking and reporting
• Collecting and structure information in a Knowledge Base (Wiki, SharePoint)
• Report to PM and client

Requirements

• At least 4+ year experience within software testing
• Experience of doing overall QA & Testing in project
• Deep understanding of core testing processes
• Experience in test planning and estimating
• Knowledge of bug tracking tool(s) and process
• Experience in creating test cases, test design
• Experience of work in distributed environment, dynamic team
• Experience with web-services testing
• Experience of direct communication with client

Be a plus

• Experience in Azure DevOps (Test Plan)

Project description

Itera is looking for a talented Senior Test Engineer with solid technical background, strong testing skills and experience building test process to become part of development team.
The team will work on a complex project for global organization. This particular project is developed for US branch. Customer is building a new electric grid asset management solution. Short trips to USA are possible (after the quarantine)
Qualified candidate has to be initiative, fast learning person that can quickly grasp technical and business aspects of the specified industry. Strong communication skills are essential.
