Senior Big Data Engineer (offline)

The mission of the data team is to build an innovative cloud data platform for the retail industry to transform the shopping experience with data-driven solutions on a large scale using Azure stack (Azure Databricks, DataFactory, DataLake, DeltaLake, Azure DW)

Role responsibilities:
Design data model and develop integration and data processing ETL pipelines to feed data lake and large-scale data warehouse
Design and implement pipelines to detect anomalies in data quality
Work with industry experts to develop and support analytical and AI solutions
Design data platform microservise architecture

Position requirements:
5+ years of relevant industry experience
Strong knowledge of SQL and data mining techniques
Proven experience in Big-Data architecture
Hands on experience designing and deploying production systems with reliable monitoring and logging practices
Understand best practices in data quality and quality engineering
Strong analytic skills related to working with structured and unstructured datasets
Experience in Software Engineering with at least on of Python / Scala / Java / .Net
Good written and spoken English level

Would be a plus:
Experience with Azure stack (in particular: Databricks, DataFactory, Delta Lake)
Experience with spark batch and structured streaming
Experience with data mining and anomaly detection techniques
Knowledge of retail domain
