Mulesoft Engineer (offline)

Product - eCommerce web-shop that are selling wellbeing/health/beauty products

The maturity of Agile processes on the customer side is quite high (SAFe [Scaled Agile Framework] is adopted for all teams).

Mulesoft is used as a technology to connect various internal and external systems with the web-shop.

Currently there are 3 on-site developers on the client-side.
Mulesoft DEVs are part of cross-functional feature teams working together with back-, front-end DEVs, and QAs for Salesforce Commerce Cloud web-shop. It means that the teams are using common sprints, have the same PO, and work closely together with other roles.

Currently the teams are already formed, and they are up to speed with delivery (about 5 sprints are complete with high quality of delivery and accuracy of planning).

Processes are already stabilized however there are constant improvements and feedback loop in place.

Responsibility:
- write production-ready code,
- test it and make it live
- test Mule code by doing unit and integration testing
- support Mulesoft application in production (typically available engineers plan some rotation)
- during that time there's a need to monitor chats and be able to reply in case of high priority incidents. Currently, the system is quite stable so this is not happening often.
- participate in the sprint and quarterly planning, including trips on-site to The Netherlands
