C++/Embedded/WebAssembly Engineer for Secure Data Management Startup (Middle/Senior) (offline)

ADAPT FRAMEWORK SOLUTIONS is looking for senior developer with 5+ years of commercial experience in some or all of the following areas:

C++/Javascript/Python programming (Rust may be needed in the future).

Compilers, parsers, programming language design

Functional programming, type systems, formal software verification

High-performance storage and networking

Database architecture and database theory

Cryptography, secure enclave development, embedded development, secure software development

Mobile development, secure application development in mobile environments

Decentralized computations, P2P networking and resource sharing

Virtualization, Isolation, Containerisation systems design approach

We are building a platform for secure storage and management of highly critical data: credentials, authentication, cryptographic key management, and sensitive financial information. ADAPT is a framework for building and operating programmable secure containers that are portable across devices and environments, including mobile, desktop, and enterprise. It's primary goal is agility and extensibility, enabling ADAPT to be quickly adopted for a broad spectrum of use cases, starting with authentication, identity, and credential management.

To be part of this team, you have to be genuinely curious about innovation in computer technology and not afraid to learn new approaches, tools and architectures. As this project is located on the intersection of many areas of computer science, you will be expected to fearlessly absorb new information on the on-going basis to cover areas as yet unfamiliar to you. Additionally, you have to know how to build software for agility and flexibly in the environment where requirements change swiftly and unexpectedly.

The right candidate is tired of working on really boring projects and is willing to make less money for truly interesting work in an amazing team, defining the future of secure computing.

Special consideration given to those who possess additional experience, education, or interest in non-technical areas, such as psychology, social science, cognitive science, philosophy, linguistics, law, or similar. Working knowledge of mathematics, especially in applications to cryptography is also a plus.
