wallee is a payment technology company that enables merchants to accept omnichannel payments - whether online in web shops, on mobile devices, unattended kiosks or in physical outlets with terminals. Our software engineers are working on a variety of projects ranging from big data systems to dedicated merchant integrations. Wallee requires a team of experienced and versatile software engineers to achieve our mission of providing the best payment experience to customers on the market. We use Scrum processes to organize our teams in multiple countries. We build technology leading payment systems that require a high degree of robustness, scalability and security. We are looking for a PHP Engineer to join our team.

Tasks:

• You implement new features, extend existing features and improve the current code base.
• You write structured, secure, well documented and tested code so that we can keep up with the pace.
• You participate in code reviews of colleges and help distribute the knowledge.
• You are involved in the design of new features and explaining to others how existing features are working.
• You help answer complex questions from customers about the software.

Requirements:

• Multiple years of experience in writing secure and well-structured code in PHP.
• Experience with payment systems is a plus.
• Experience in debugging of complex PHP system.
• Experience with other common industry technologies such as Docker and Git.
• Top notch communication skills. Our communication happens mostly in English.
  Experience with distributed teams is a plus.
• A user focused mindset and an intrinsic motivation to learn new things.
• Must have proven time management skills and the ability to deliver to tight deadlines.
• Able to quickly analyse issues and offer sound recommendations and solutions in a fast growing, global company.

Nice to have:

• Experience with wordpress and symfony.

• Experience with online shopping carts.

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will focus on web testing to help ensure the quality and reliability of our software. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in web automation and a passion for improving quality throughout the development process. This is a great opportunity to grow your career in QA engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute both manual and automated tests to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of Wallee’s payment systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define clear acceptance criteria during user story creation.
• Continuously improve QA processes by researching and integrating new tools, technologies, and best practices.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues using logs, working closely with developers to resolve problems.
• Perform regular regression testing to maintain software quality across multiple releases.
• Work on multiple projects in parallel, demonstrating the ability to quickly switch contexts and manage priorities.

Requirements: 

• Good understanding of the  software quality principles, with experience in software testing and development.
• In-depth knowledge of testing procedures, tools, and the ability to write secure, testable code.
• Good knowledge around test automation. (e.g: Playwright, Cypress).
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, independent, and eager to learn.
• Knowledge of the payment industry and e-commerce payment platforms is beneficial.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Jira knowledge in task management and bug reporting.
• Experience testing checkout processes or how payments are handled is a plus.

Additional requirements: 

• Proficiency with command-line tools in Unix.

• Familiarity with Git and interpreting logs in CI/CD pipelines.
