The Role

We are looking for a highly technical, hybrid QA Engineer to take ownership of the full lifecycle of quality across our web-based fintech platform.

This role combines hands-on manual testing with the development of robust end-to-end (E2E) automation, while also overseeing QA infrastructure and release health. You will play a critical role in ensuring platform stability, data integrity, and a seamless user experience.

What You’ll Do

• End-to-End Testing: Execute a comprehensive testing strategy including feature, regression, smoke, and migration testing, alongside monitoring performance and API stability.
• Automation & Infrastructure: Develop and maintain E2E test suites using Playwright (TypeScript) and manage the QA environment, including the generation of test builds.
• Test & Bug Operations: Administer the test case database (Testmo) and triage internal/support reports into actionable GitLab tickets.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Perform deep-dive debugging using browser tools (Network/Console) and cloud logs (GCP) to diagnose platform issues.
• Data Verification: Use MongoDB and other infra tools to validate data integrity and system behavior when applicable.
• Reporting & Innovation: Track QA KPIs to provide regular product health updates while proactively integrating AI tooling to improve workflow efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a bridge between developers and product experts, mastering complex fintech business domains to ensure requirements are met from both a technical and user perspective.

What you bring

Technical Expertise

• Strong experience in E2E test automation (Playwright, TypeScript preferred)
• Proficient in browser debugging (Console/Network) and log analysis (via GCP)
• Experience with API testing including the validation of RESTful services
• Working knowledge of NoSQL (e.g. Mongo DB) for data verification
• Solid command of GitLab, including branching strategies and CI/CD pipeline integration

• Familiarity with QA infrastructure and test environment management

   

Testing & Quality Mindset

• Hands-on experience of feature, regression, smoke, and migration testing
• Experience managing test case databases and knowledge base maintenance.
• Proven ability to proactively identify, reproduce, and clearly document defects
