The role

This is not just about writing smart contracts — it’s about designing systems where:

• value moves safely
• transactions settle correctly
• edge cases don’t break production

You’ll work across:

• smart contracts (Solidity, EVM)
• deployment & upgrade flows
• transaction & settlement logic
• wallet architecture (multisigs, treasury, approvals)
• oracle & protocol integrations

Requirements

• 8+ years in software engineering
• 5+ years in blockchain / smart contracts
• Strong Solidity + EVM experience
• Experience deploying contracts to mainnet with TVL
• Strong understanding of:
  • onchain architecture
  • protocol integrations
  • transaction flows & failure modes
• Security mindset and attention to detail

Nice to have

• Foundry / Hardhat
• DeFi / trading systems
• Oracles & data integrations
• Solana / Rust

We’re hiring a Lead IT Security Engineer for Limitless Labs — a crypto + AI company building one of the largest prediction markets on Base.

The platform has already processed $3B+ in trading volume, with strong user engagement and retention. Security is a critical part of scaling the system further.

What you’ll do

• Own and lead security operations across the company
• Build and improve threat detection, monitoring, and incident response systems
• Design SIEM, logging, and alerting pipelines
• Lead incident response and post-mortems
• Conduct risk assessments and threat modeling
• Manage vulnerabilities and remediation processes
• Ensure readiness against real-world attacks (DDoS, exploits, key compromise)
• Work with external security vendors and auditors

What we’re looking for

• 7+ years in Security Operations
• Experience owning security in production environments
• Strong knowledge of cloud security (GCP, Cloudflare)
• Solid understanding of infrastructure, network, and application security
• Hands-on experience with SIEM / EDR / SOAR systems
• Experience handling high-severity incidents
• Ability to operate under pressure and make critical decisions

Nice to have

• Web3 / blockchain security experience
• Experience securing financial or trading systems
• SOC2 / ISO 27001 experience
• Background in penetration testing or red teaming
