About Role:

You will be working day-to-day with world class Big Data Engineers and Data Scientists on taking the current AI Intent Marketing Product to next level. You will be responsible for working with data on day-to-day and coming up with new ways on how to improve and reshape the product.  More details to be shared.

Responsibilities:

• Building models for Marketing Intent Analysis
• Improving existing algorithms and build new Proofs of Concept
• Delivering real impact to the products through rigorous data-driven solutions
• Able to test multiple PoCs and improve model to improve accuracy as the Data Quality / AI Decisions is the core
• Researching and then delivering PoCs into data products
• Collaborating with product owners, engineers, and data scientists to continually solve complex data problems
• Follow Clean Code principles to ensure maintainable and scalable code.
• Follow modern security guidelines and best practices.

Requirements:

• Experience working in a data science team in Marketing/AdTech domain.
• A Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in STEM (Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering)
• Excellent knowledge of data science tools, including, python coding, SQL and production tools
• A big-picture mindset to correctly diagnose problems, produce research, and discover solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with Product Owners and business heads
• Strong problem-solving and facilitation skills.
• Familiarity with modern security practices in application development.
• Intermediate English proficiency.

  We are looking for a highly skilled  Golang Developer to take the lead in architecting and optimizing modern, scalable microservices. You will be responsible for delivering high-performance, cloud-native solutions in a fast-paced SaaS environment, ensuring reliable and efficient back-end systems for mission-critical, large-scale industries.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Golang microservice development with a focus on distributed, high-load architecture.
2. Write optimized, clean, and well-tested Go code following best practices and design patterns.
3. Design and maintain RESTful/gRPC services, ensuring secure and scalable communication flows.
4. Integrate with Kafka or other message queues to handle real-time data streams and asynchronous processing.
5. Implement and document cron jobs that go beyond simple scheduling, incorporating error handling, retries, and robust monitoring.
6. Drive end-to-end ownership of the microservice lifecycle: from development and environment setup to Kubernetes deployment and CI/CD pipelines.
7. Collaborate smoothly with product managers, front-end engineers, and DevOps to ensure high-quality deliverables.
8. Conduct performance profiling, implement benchmarks, and continuously optimize system throughput.
9. Maintain separate databases per microservice (Google Spanner) and apply best practices for data isolation and consistency.
10. Work in a fully remote, highly collaborative virtual office, sharing knowledge and expertise across the team.

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in Go (Golang) with at least 4 years of commercial experience.
• Proven track record of building and operating high-load, scalable microservices in production.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure swift and reliable deployments.
• Familiarity with gRPC for high-performance inter-service communication.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or Google Spanner – including schema design, query optimization, and handling complex workloads.
• Ability to plan and implement advanced cron jobs, factoring in dependencies, retries, alerts, and thorough monitoring.
• Capable of writing benchmark tests and profiling Go applications (pprof or similar).
• Comfortable documenting APIs (REST/gRPC) and maintaining clear technical documentation.

• Onboard and transition mid-size to large carriers (500-1,000 trucks) to the Vektor Platform.
• Visit existing Vektor customer offices to meet with staff, learn how they use Vektor, and document workflow improvements to enhance their operations.
• Educate carrier teams and upper leadership on the benefits of automation and streamlined trucking management.
• Conduct presentations and training sessions to drive adoption of Vektor’s TMS.
• Research and schedule new presentations with carrier teams to expand Vektor’s reach.
• Schedule and lead sales meetings, presenting Vektor’s solutions to carrier and broker businesses.
• Arrange calls for the CEO with local company representatives to foster relationships and close deals.
• Lead and coordinate new implementations, ensuring a smooth transition for customers.

Qualifications:

• Mandatory: 2+ years of experience in the trucking carrier or broker space, with a strong understanding of industry workflows and challenges, particularly around dispatch, billing and payroll.
• Higher education in technology, logistics, or business administration is preferred but not required.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Russian is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
