We are seeking a hands-on B2B social media strategist to turn our LinkedIn and YouTube presence into a lead generation engine and a brand awareness powerhouse. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on creating impactful content in SaaS or highly technical industries like cybersecurity, and wants to work directly with our CEO and subject-matter experts to amplify their insights.

What you’ll do:

• Manage the CEO’s LinkedIn presence as the primary growth channel (content creation, publishing)
• Work directly with the CEO to translate ideas, expertise, and feedback into content 
• Use AI tools to generate, edit, and scale content (text, visuals, presentations, video), while maintaining high quality and consistency
• Support the company’s LinkedIn page and distribution through internal stakeholders’ profiles
• Analyze content performance and optimize based on what drives visibility, engagement, and leads
• Collaborate with design and marketing to ensure consistent messaging and visual standards

As we continue expanding in the U.S. market, we are strengthening our communications engine. We are looking for a hands-on PR Manager who can elevate our brand, amplify our founders’ voices, and drive strategic visibility across global tech and business media.This is a high-impact role for someone who can both shape PR strategy and execute it independently.

Role Overview:

The PR Manager will own both corporate communications and executive PR, working directly with our CEO and Marketing leadership. You will build our media presence from the ground up, pitch UnderDefense’s expertise, drive thought leadership, and manage communication around cybersecurity incidents and industry commentary. We need someone who is proactive, resourceful, and capable of navigating a fast-paced environment with no bureaucracy and high expectations for output.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and execute PR strategy to increase UnderDefense’s visibility in U.S. and global markets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, analysts, and influencers in tech, business, and cybersecurity media.
• Pitch company news, industry commentary, product updates, and expert insights from UnderDefense leaders.
• Develop and manage the personal brand of the founder as a key industry voice: secure interviews, speaking opportunities, and expert positioning.
• Identify media opportunities based on security incidents, industry reports, and threat trends.
•  Draft press releases, statements, talking points, briefs, and media kits.
•  Build a steady pipeline of PR opportunities by working closely with internal teams (security, product, pentest) and turning their insights into media stories.
•  Prepare executives for interviews, panels, podcasts, and conferences.
• Collaborate with marketing to align messaging across PR, social media, events, and content.
• Drive PR reporting: coverage tracking, share of voice, and impact on brand awareness.
• Ensure messaging consistency across all external channels.

•  Use AI tools to accelerate research, drafting, and reporting workflows.

   

Qualifications:

Must-have:

•  3+ years of experience in PR or Communications for B2B tech, SaaS, or cybersecurity companies.
•  Strong media relations skills with proven experience securing coverage (preferably in U.S./international media).
• Excellent English writing skills: press releases, pitches, executive quotes, op-eds (C1–C2 minimum).
•  Experience working directly with founders or C-level executives on thought leadership and personal brand.
• Ability to operate independently, pitch proactively, and deliver end-to-end results.
• Strong storytelling skills and understanding of how to make technical topics newsworthy

•  Comfort with AI tools (drafting, research, content generation) and ability to QA AI output critically.
   

  Nice to have:

•  Experience in or direct network within the cybersecurity industry.
• Experience in crisis communications or reactive PR based on industry incidents.
• Familiarity with U.S. media landscape and PR tools (Meltwater, MuckRack, etc.).
• Understanding of product positioning and collaboration with marketing teams.
