As a Head of QA, you will lead a distributed Quality Engineering organization of approximately 50 engineers across multiple teams. You will define the QA strategy, drive operational excellence, lead AI-driven quality initiatives, and continuously improve quality engineering practices across the organization. Working closely with QA Leads, Engineering, Product, and Delivery teams, you will play a key role in scaling quality and engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the QA strategy aligned with business and engineering objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a distributed QA organization, including QA Leads and Quality Engineers.
• Drive continuous improvement of QA processes, testing methodologies, operational efficiency, and testing cycle time.
• Establish and enforce QA standards, quality metrics, KPIs, OKRs, and engineering best practices across teams.
• Lead the adoption of AI-powered testing solutions, automation technologies, and modern QA tools while driving AI capability across the organization.
• Define and execute scalable quality engineering and automation strategies across multiple products and teams.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Delivery leadership to ensure high-quality software releases, manage quality risks, and provide strategic guidance on quality initiatives.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical, organizational, and quality-related challenges.
• Own the QA hiring strategy, talent development, succession planning, and organizational growth.

• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, continuous learning, and engineering excellence by identifying and implementing new processes and AI-driven improvements.

   

Requirements

• Location in Warsaw (office-based role)
• 8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• 4+ years of experience leading QA teams in a product environment.
• Proven experience managing large QA organizations (20+ engineers), including QA Leads.
• Experience defining QA strategy, organizational standards, KPIs, and scalable quality processes.
• Strong experience driving process optimization and operational excellence across QA organizations.
• Experience defining and executing test strategies and modern Quality Engineering practices.
• Good understanding of AI applications in software testing and a track record of evaluating or adopting AI-driven solutions to improve QA processes.
• Deep understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and software testing best practices.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Fluent English (C1/C2 level).
• Fluent Ukrainian (C1/C2 level).

You will play a high-impact role within a small, efficient team dedicated to bridging the gap between Engineering and Data Science. Your work will focus on building cutting-edge Generative AI infrastructures and frameworks that significantly boost productivity across the whole product. You will develop tools that bring engineering rigor to data science workflows, solving complex problems in the GenAI space that the market has yet to crack. Requirements:

Responsibilities:

• GenAI Development: Design, develop, and maintain features for our GenAI analytics agent (DataWhiz) that serve the entire organization for complex data analytical inquiries.
• Framework Optimization: Improve and scale the internal GenAI framework, including fixing bugs and optimizing the core engine for performance and reliability.
• UI/UX Enhancement: Build and implement new UI features for the GenAI chat interface to ensure a seamless experience for internal stakeholders.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with development, product, and UX teams to define product requirements, while collaborating with core platform engineers to ensure infrastructure alignment.

• Engineering Excellence: Bridge the gap between Engineering and Data Science by applying software engineering best practices (code reviews, CI/CD, scalability) to DS workflows.

As an Android Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and implement new UI templates for the core Android Car App Library (CAL). Your work will directly enable the core application team to build new features on the Android Auto platform.

The team is based in Warsaw, and this is an office-based role.

• Library Development: Write, test, and maintain high-quality, reusable code for new UI templates within the Android Car App Library (CAL).

This role focuses on executing critical migration projects within the backend infrastructure. The Backend Infrastructure team is undertaking several large-scale migrations to modernize its systems, improve reliability, and reduce maintenance overhead. This TVC position will be instrumental in performing the hands-on work required for these migrations, working closely with the infrastructure team and other BackEnd teams.

Required Qualifications:

Responsibilities

• Execute Migrations: Actively participate in and drive the execution of large-scale code and system migrations across various backend services. Some examples include: 
  • Importing or upgrading third-party dependencies.
  • Building projects on GoB(Gerrit-on-Borg).
  • Performing necessary code and dependency changes in backend projects
• Code Modification and Updates: Update and refactor existing codebases (primarily Java) to align with new libraries, platforms, and infrastructure.
• Testing: Work with the Infrastructure team to create a testing plan for migrations to ensure that changes do not break running services and execute the test plans.  
• Collaboration: Work closely with the  Backend Infrastructure team and other BE software engineers to understand migration requirements, plan execution strategies, and ensure smooth transitions with minimal disruption.
• Problem Solving: Investigate, debug, and resolve technical issues and complexities encountered during the migration processes.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation for migration plans, processes, changes made, and outcomes.
• Best Practices: Adhere to software development best practices, ensuring code quality, and follow established guidelines for infrastructure changes.
