The Beta Team is responsible for leading and developing a diverse and knowledgeable beta community to test and provide quality feedback on products, features, and back-end functionality. Requirements:

● Upper-Intermediate/Advanced level of English

● 1+ year in L2 Technical Support or 1+ year in manual QA

● Familiarity with bug tracking systems and test management tools

● Task oriented — able to deliver quickly on tight schedules and deadlines, and must be able to adapt to frequent changes in requirements

As a plus:

● Experience in software QA methodologies and practices with emphasis on the Mobile world (Android and iOS)

● Experience utilizing log files to debug and analyze issues

● Experience in operating test tools and conducting analysis of test data

● Good understanding of Client-Server architecture

We are looking for a Beta Community Support Engineer to join our big and skilled team, working on a big navigation system. The navigational app works on smartphones and tablets, letting people outsmart traffic, communicate, share trips, etc.

The Beta community includes several thousand volunteers worldwide who participate in various testing phases of the product and aid in improving product quality. The main responsibilities include daily management and communication with the Beta Community — monitoring Beta feedback, bug reports, and suggestions and ensuring questions have a response.

As an Android Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and implement new UI templates for the core Android Car App Library (CAL). Your work will directly enable the core application team to build new features on the Android Auto platform.

Responsibilities:

• Library Development: Write, test, and maintain high-quality, reusable code for new UI templates within the Android Car App Library (CAL).
• Requirements Analysis: Analyze feature requests from the product and engineering teams and translate these into technical requirements for new, generalized CAL templates.
• Platform Collaboration: Work with the CAL team members and core developers on API design, implementation, and code reviews to ensure contributions align with the library’s architecture and quality standards.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support to the development team as they integrate the new templates.
• Compliance: Ensure all new templates adhere to Android Auto’s driver-distraction and design guidelines.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience with native Android application development
