At SwyTapp, we’re building robust, scalable systems to power the next generation of subscription-based applications. We're currently developing a subscription management platform similar to RevenueCat, and we’re looking for a talented BE JS Lead  to join our team.

Due to family-related changes, our current BE Lead is transitioning to part-time. We’re now looking for a new hero to take over the leadership role. You’ll receive full support during the transition phase and continued guidance from the outgoing Lead for at least 3 months.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop the backend architecture of the subscription management system
• Lead and collaborate with an existing backend team (currently 3 developers)
• Work closely with FE and QA engineers (4 team members)
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in architectural discussions and conduct code reviews
• Take initiative in clarifying business requirements in collaboration with the Product team
   

Requirements:

Must-Have:

• Strong hands-on experience with NestJS and TypeScript
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
• Ability to work with limited documentation and proactively gather requirements
• Experience in a technical leadership or team lead role
   

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with TypeORM
• Familiarity with OLAP databases
• Working knowledge of Docker and containerized development
• A good sense of humor and collaborative attitude

We’re building a powerful subscription management platform - think RevenueCat, but better - and we’re looking for a smart, proactive PM/PO to help drive it forward.
 

🚀 What You’ll Be Doing

• Define and manage product requirements for a scalable subscription management system
• Own the product backlog, lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Translate high-level business goals into actionable development tasks

• Collaborate closely with a strong team of 6 engineers (frontend, backend, QA) to prioritize features and fixes

   

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a PM or PO, ideally in SaaS or B2B environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote-first setup

• Comfortable navigating dynamic product environments — supported by a great team and an easygoing client!

   

🌟 Nice to Have

• Experience with subscription-based platforms or billing systems
• Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, and agile workflows
• A technical background (just in case our stack is - NestJS, PostgreSQL, Angular)
