Your day-to-day will include:

• Ensuring that RAW’s math profiles are engaging and exciting for our players
• Active participation in setting parameters, while keeping games mathematically and mechanically compliant with all jurisdictions
• Keeping Raw up to date with market trends and collate market leading ideas for math designs and improvements
• Creating defined specifications (Math Design / Profiling Document) for the games
• Providing architects with analysis and data insights to ensure that Game Studios receive the necessary information to produce the game
• Accountability for targets, goals and objectives for your game productions, in accordance with the RAW Game Roadmap
• Active collaboration with Team Management in the Game Studios on new game ideas and mechanics
• Close collaboration with Certification and Release managers in the Project Delivery team

• Aligning with stakeholders to secure transparency and clear communication for mathematical, technical and operational matters

   

You're our ideal Mathematician if you:

• Have at least 1 year of experience as a Game Mathematician
• Hold a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or Computer Science

For this role, the team has been very clear on expectations. Beyond strong artistic execution, we need someone with solid, hands-on slot design experience who genuinely understands:

• What high-performing slot games look like in the market

• Industry conventions and popular mechanics

• What works (and what doesn’t) from a product perspective

• The full scope of assets required for a slot

• How to properly prepare and structure those assets for animators and developers

Your day-to-day will include:

·      Designing, developing, and maintaining game engine programming

·      Collaborating with the Mathematics team and external partners to bring new game concepts to life

·      Supporting partners with game integrations, both internal and external

·      Enhancing and upgrading the engine framework to improve testing and ensure compatibility with new features

·      Programming casino wallet interfaces and integrating new casinos into the LeGa platform

·      Monitoring and maintaining platform stability by reviewing logs, databases, and environment

Technology stack
The role is currently limited to Python, Linux and PostgreSQL. Games are built in Python (both Python 2.7 and Python 3 are required). Docker is also used.
There is no use of Unity, Unreal Engine or C#.
The platform is currently hosted on AWS, with an ongoing migration to Oracle Cloud, although cloud expertise is not particularly relevant for this position.
