The ideal candidate will have expertise in Node.js and will play a critical role in developing a new module for our platform. This role requires a balance of technical leadership, hands-on development skills, and experience with modern and legacy Node.js technologies.
About the project:
A British enterprise project. Our task is to create a new functional module from scratch for Vendor Marketing Activity Management and a complementary Retailer Review and Feedback Process.Team structure: 1 tech lead, 3 developers (frontend and backend), 1 QA, 1 UI/UX Designer, 1 Π Π.
Requirements:- 5+ years of experience in software development, with expertise in Node.js
- Strong knowledge of API development and integration, including endpoint optimization and versioning.
- Experience with data modeling and workflows (e.g., investment creation, plan submission, commenting).
- Familiarity with both modern and legacy Node.js technologies.
- Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and automation tools.
- Hands-on experience with Heroku for deployment and application management.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency with Git and version control systems.
- Proven experience leading and mentoring development teams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Upper-Intermediate English level
It will be a plus:
- Working experience with Frontend technologies (preferably Angular)
Responsibilities:
- Lead team of developers, ensuring high-quality code and timely project delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and architectural solutions.
- Actively contribute to developing a new module, focusing mostly on the backend (Node.js).
- Extend and optimize existing data models, including workflows like investment creation, plan submission, and commenting.
- Develop and integrate APIs, including versioning, endpoint optimization, and seamless data exchange.
- Implement data aggregation and filtering solutions for analytics, providing insights at weekly and category levels.
- Set up and maintain deployment pipelines, ensuring seamless delivery to production environments.
- Ensure code quality through best practices, reviews, and testing.

β Understanding of Single Sign-on and token-based authentication REST, JWT, oAuth
β Experience with PostgreSQL HA server

β Intermediate+ English level at least
β Ability to work self-managing and autonomously
It will be a plus:
β Practical experience with complex mongoose aggregations

In this role, you will be in charge of
β Managing and growing the social media presence of the company across multiple platforms, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram to name but a few;
β Creating engaging and effective textual and visual content for social media platforms;
β Setting up advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram;
β Shooting and editing creative and trending video content for YouTube and Instagram (mostly using AI tools);
β Cooperation with CEO, HR Manager, and UI/UX Designer as well.
