The role requires both strong visual storytelling skills and an understanding of UX principles like wireframing and user flows.
You will be expected to attend daily stand-ups, coordinate with a multidisciplinary and geographically dispersed team, and deliver designs on time and to specification. Project stand-ups are scheduled during the morning hours using California time zone (PST). You must have at least 4 hours of overlap time with the Studio which is open from 9am to 5pm PST.
Roles and Responsibilities

 - Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, wireframing, and interactive design.
 - Excellent visual design skills, with an eye for typography, layout, and color theory.
 - Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, project managers, and other creatives.
 - Strong English written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly present design decisions to a diverse non-technical audience.
 - Familiarity with project management tools (such as Monday.com) preferred.

Additional Desired Experience
- Motion graphics/animation skills (After Effects or similar).
 - Experience designing for the games industry (preferred but not required).
 - Understanding of design for AR/VR or Web3 experiences.
 - Basic knowledge of Unity or implementation of UI assets in game engines.

We expect you to provide appropriate computer, peripherals, and software needed for this position, in addition to high-speed internet, mic, and camera required for video conferencing and voice calls. Robot Sea Monster will provide access to all team systems and any proprietary software or hardware required for a project.
You will need to be available via Google Meet, Slack, and email during designated work hours. Additional hours may be required when we need to meet project deadlines and for periodic client meetings. Hours will fluctuate based upon number of projects, project scale, and project timelines.
