Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Automation QA Engineer with over 10 years of experience in software quality assurance. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in implementing, maintaining, and scaling our test automation framework using Playwright, while helping us migrate from Cypress.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the transition and implementation of Playwright for our test automation framework, moving from Cypress.
- Automate functional, regression, integration, and UI tests for our web applications using Playwright.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and create robust automation test scripts.
- Test both API and UI of web applications to ensure end-to-end functionality, reliability, and performance.
- Create, execute, and maintain automation test plans, scripts, and frameworks for efficient and effective testing.
- Conduct continuous improvements and optimizations to the test automation strategy and framework, ensuring scalability and reusability of automation code.
- Identify and document defects.
- Work in a team with a Senior Manual QA.
- Ensure high-quality test coverage and maintain automation tests as the codebase evolves.
- Identify and propose improvements in automation processes to increase efficiency and reduce testing time.
- Demonstrate advanced English skills both in written and oral communication to collaborate effectively in international team.
Requirements:- 8+ years of experience in test automation, with a strong focus on web application automation.
- Proven expertise in using Playwright for test automation.
- In-depth knowledge of Cypress, Selenium, etc.
- Strong experience in API and UI testing.
- Expertise in writing scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation scripts.
- Excellent understanding of the SDLC and QA best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the continuous delivery process.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced English skills for clear communication with international teams.
- A self-driven, proactive approach with the ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment.
- Readiness to start cooperation quickly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Readiness to go for business trips abroad.
