We are looking for a Head of Financial Operations to join the team and take ownership of the company’s financial operations across payments, treasury, crypto liquidity, custody, withdrawals, settlements, reconciliation, chargebacks, and transaction-level financial controls.

The Project

We are building a new online crypto casino project, launched as a spin-off from a large international online casino brand. This is an early-stage opportunity to join an ambitious, fast-moving and execution-driven team with real ownership and direct impact on the business. The position is based on-site in Dubai.

Compensation and the overall package are discussed individually; relocation support can be provided where required.

The Role

The Head of Financial Operations (FinOps) owns the company’s payment infrastructure and controlled movement of money across fiat and crypto rails. The role combines Head of Payments, Treasury and Reconciliation responsibilities: payment orchestration, PSP and banking relationships, liquidity, custody, withdrawals execution, settlements, chargebacks, reconciliation, payment economics and transaction-level financial controls. FinOps executes authorized financial actions and maintains the financial evidence trail.

Responsibilities

Payments and Provider Management

1. Own the payment operating model across fiat and crypto methods, including routing, cascading, failover and GEO-specific cashier configurations in cooperation with IT Department.
2. Lead the selection, commercial negotiation, onboarding and launch of PSPs, acquirers, banks, gateways, crypto processors and other payment partners within delegated authority.
3. Monitor payment conversion, technical success, payout execution, provider availability, fees, reserves, settlement terms and counterparty exposure; drive corrective action and escalation.

4. Maintain a resilient provider portfolio with appropriate concentration limits, fallback capacity and replacement pipelines.

    

Treasury, Custody and Crypto Liquidity

1. Own daily liquidity across PSPs, banks, wallets, custodians and exchanges to fund authorised withdrawals and business obligations.
2. Design and operate the hot/warm/cold wallet model, rebalancing thresholds, signing workflows and transaction-approval controls with the CFO and Risk.
3. Execute approved treasury, conversion and hedging strategies and maintain sufficient fiat/crypto on- and off-ramp capacity.

4. Monitor and mitigate FX, crypto-price, counterparty, settlement, network-fee and liquidity exposures, escalating limit recommendations to the CFO.

    

Withdrawals, Disputes and Controlled Execution

1. Execute withdrawals and other financial actions only after required system, Risk and Compliance approvals, preserving maker-checker, custody and transaction-limit controls.
2. Own payout routing, transaction submission, provider/wallet execution, status monitoring and resolution of failed or stuck transactions.
3. Administer chargebacks, refunds and payment disputes on the financial and provider side, including evidence submission, reversals, reserves and ledger impact.

4. Maintain auditable evidence for holds, releases, rejects, refunds, reversals, disputes and manual interventions; never override a Risk or Compliance restriction.

    

Reconciliation, Settlement and Financial Control

1. Own daily end-to-end reconciliation across gaming, payment, banking, wallet, custody, exchange and accounting systems, with controlled investigation and closure of exceptions.
2. Validate settlements, balances, fees, exchange rates, reserves and segregation of player-related and corporate funds.
3. Own transaction-level controls and operational subledgers, providing reconciled data and evidence for month-end close, audits and regulatory reviews (Accounting retains ownership of statutory books and financial statements).

4. Provide transaction, wallet and settlement evidence to investigations and regulatory reporting without assuming ownership of AML or fraud decisions.

    

Reporting, Process and Team Leadership

1. Own payment and treasury reporting and P&L, covering performance, liquidity, provider exposure, fees, FX/crypto costs, chargebacks, reserves, incidents and control exceptions.
2. Build and lead the FinOps team across payments, treasury and reconciliation, including 24/7 coverage where required.
3. Maintain SOPs, approval matrices, business-continuity procedures and cross-functional SLAs, and drive appropriate automation.

4. Represent FinOps in launches and strategic planning, signing off payment readiness, liquidity, reconciliation and financial controls.

    

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in payments, treasury or financial operations, including leadership experience; online casino, sportsbook, PSP, fintech or crypto-exchange experience is strongly preferred.
• Hands-on knowledge of cards, bank transfers, e-wallets, acquiring, payment orchestration, refunds, chargebacks, settlements and provider reserves.
• Strong crypto operations experience, including custody, hot/cold wallet controls, exchanges, OTC, on/off-ramps, stablecoins and multi-chain liquidity.
• Proven ownership of high-volume reconciliation and transaction-level financial controls.
• Strong commercial experience with PSPs, banks, custodians, exchanges or comparable payment partners.
• Strong data skills; advanced spreadsheet capability and confidence working with APIs, SQL, dashboards or large transaction datasets.
• Working knowledge of AML/KYC, sanctions and fraud controls sufficient to execute decisions and preserve evidence while respecting independent control ownership.

• Fluent English, written and spoken.

   

Preferred Qualifications

1. Prior experience as Head of Payments, Head of Treasury, Head of FinOps or an equivalent role in iGaming.
2. Practical knowledge of crypto custody platforms and wallet infrastructure, including Fireblocks, Copper or BitGo, covering transaction workflows, signing and approval schemes, hot/warm/cold wallet structures, wallet rebalancing, access controls and crypto liquidity management.
3. Working knowledge of blockchain analytics and wallet-screening tools such as Chainalysis or Elliptic, sufficient to interpret screening results, identify transactions requiring escalation and execute authorised holds or releases in accordance with approved Risk and Compliance decisions.
4. Experience across multiple gaming jurisdictions and high-risk merchant banking environments.
5. Experience designing automated reconciliation, payment-monitoring and treasury-control tooling.

6. Strong mathematical, finance or quantitative background.

The Role

The Head of Operations owns the day-to-day player-service, gaming-operations and Risk Operations environment across the casino and sportsbook. The role ensures that players can register, access the product, receive timely support, use games and promotions correctly, and have cases routed and resolved through clear 24/7 processes. The position builds and leads Customer Support, Casino/Sportsbook Operations, Risk Operations and, where assigned, VIP Operations. It also serves as the operational incident coordinator across IT Department, FinOps, Legal & Compliance and external gaming suppliers.

This role oversees operational risk execution and case decisions through the Risk team, while AML policy, regulatory interpretation, SAR/STR decisions and MLRO responsibilities remain independently owned by Legal & Compliance.

Responsibilities

Player Service and Customer Support

1. Own the end-to-end operational player journey outside financial execution, including account and gameplay support, bonus queries, complaints, safer-gambling referrals and account-closure service.
2. Build and lead Customer Support, defining 24/7 coverage, workforce plans, channel SLAs, quality assurance, training, knowledge bases and escalation paths.
3. Own the quality, consistency and auditability of player communications and ensure cases are routed to the correct decision owner and tracked through closure.

4. Monitor service KPIs and recurring player pain points, coordinating corrective action and regulated complaints with the relevant functional owner and Legal & Compliance.

    

Casino, Sportsbook, VIP and Promotional Operations

1. Monitor casino and sportsbook availability and service quality, coordinating disputed bets, game interruptions, settlement issues, missing records and provider outages.
2. Manage operational relationships and escalations with game aggregator, sportsbook and platform suppliers, and support catalogue changes and pre-launch acceptance testing.
3. Own VIP service workflows and ensure manual bonuses, compensation and player-level exceptions follow documented approval limits and remain fully auditable.

4. Coordinate promotion readiness and operational issues with CRM, Product, Risk and Customer Support; commercial strategy and campaign economics remain with Commercial leadership.

    

Risk and Blockchain Screening Operations

1. Build and oversee Risk Operations for day-to-day player, payment, fraud and crypto-risk cases under policies approved by Legal & Compliance.
2. Own the operational configuration and governance of Chainalysis, Elliptic or equivalent screening workflows, including rules, thresholds, alerts, queues, escalation logic and quality assurance.
3. Ensure alerts are reviewed within SLA and hold, release, reject or escalation decisions are documented, evidence-based and made within Risk's delegated authority.

4. Send authorised financial actions to FinOps for controlled execution; Risk may not bypass FinOps controls, while AML interpretation, regulatory reporting and SAR/STR decisions remain with Legal & Compliance and the MLRO.

    

Operational Readiness and Incident Management

1. Coordinate material player-impacting incidents, maintaining severity, ownership, communication cadence and closure records across operational, technical and financial owners.
2. Lead operational readiness for new brands, markets, games and promotions, obtaining domain sign-off from FinOps, Risk, Legal & Compliance and IT Departments.

3. Run post-incident reviews focused on player impact, hand-offs and process failures, while technical and financial root causes remain with IT and FinOps respectively.

    

Process, Controls and Team Leadership

1. Maintain operational workflows, SOPs, service ownership, escalation matrices, approval limits and a single source of truth for player-service procedures.
2. Recruit, structure and develop Operations teams, ensuring appropriate coverage, role-based access and protection of sensitive information.
3. Drive automation in case routing, support tooling, knowledge management and reporting.

4. Report service performance, incidents, unresolved cases, capacity risks and remediation plans to management.

    

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in online casino, sportsbook or comparable high-volume digital operations, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience leading 24/7 Customer Support and casino/sportsbook operational processes.
• Strong knowledge of the player lifecycle, gaming-platform back offices, complaints, bonuses, VIP servicing and supplier incident management.
• Working knowledge of payments, KYC/AML, fraud and responsible-gambling processes sufficient to manage hand-offs and escalations without assuming independent control ownership.
• Practical knowledge of blockchain analytics and wallet-screening tools such as Chainalysis or Elliptic, including screening-rule governance, risk thresholds, alert classification and case-management workflows.
• Proven experience building SOPs, SLAs, operating models, dashboards and scalable teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Launch a new geography from scratch: personally lead the first 20–30 negotiations, onboard the first traders and payment partners, build the local supply network, and launch the first payment corridor;
• independently hire the first 3–5 employees, including participating in the search for a Head of Supply, and gradually build the local operations and supply teams;
• work closely with the HQ R&D team to adapt the platform to local payment infrastructure, test solutions, and ensure stable product operations;
• build a 24/7 operating model, including pay-in / payout processes, SLAs, escalations, partner communication, and on-call coverage;
• take ownership of the geography’s unit economics and P&L, managing volumes, margins, and costs while driving the market toward break-even;

• Готувати та фасилітувати сезонні OKR-сесії разом із фаундером.
• Проводити регулярні check-in зустрічі та контролювати прогрес.
• Допомагати керівникам формулювати якісні, конкретні та вимірювані Objectives і Key Results.
• Проводити ретроспективи за результатами OKR-сезонів.

У компанії є окрема Recruitment-функція, тому масовий та лінійний найм не входить у цю роль. Chief of Staff працюватиме лише з ключовими для бізнесу позиціями — орієнтовно 5-7 вакансій на рік.

Наш клієнт - digital-агенція повного циклу, яка працює на стику комунікації, performance та IT. Команда фокусується на довгострокових партнерствах, системному зростанні та відповідальності за результат. Середній термін співпраці з клієнтами - понад 3 роки.

Про роль

Це ключова експертна та лідерська роль із сильним впливом на бізнес-результат.

На цій позиції ти:

• відповідаєш за performance-стратегію проєктів;
• працюєш із ROAS, LTV, CAC та масштабуванням;
• координуєш команду до 5 спеціалістів;
• ведеш 2-3 ключових проєкти (глибоке занурення, без перевантаження кількістю);
• виступаєш стратегічним партнером для клієнтів і внутрішніх команд;
• за потреби, підключаєшся до тактичних задач у Meta Ads та Google Ads. 

Основні задачі

Стратегія та економіка:

• формування growth & performance-стратегії для e-commerce проєктів;
• участь у прийнятті рішень на рівні юніт-економіки;
• планування масштабування та контроль ефективності. 

Performance & аналітика:

• контроль напрямків Meta / Google / Shopping;
• аналіз даних у GA4, GTM, теплових картах;
• робота з фідами, post-purchase метриками та retention-логікою;
• повне розуміння того, що відбувається в рекламних акаунтах.

Команда та координація:

• постановка задач таргетологам і PPC-спеціалістам;
• контроль якості запусків, тестів і відповідності кампаній бренду;
• синхронізація з IT, дизайном та комунікаційною командою;
• участь у формуванні та уточненні ТЗ для креативів. 

Клієнти та розвиток:  

• участь у пресейлі та стратегічних сесіях;
• комунікація з клієнтами щодо результатів;
• підготовка та презентація звітності;
• підтримка високого рівня довіри та NPS.

Що ми очікуємо від кандидата:

• 5-8 років досвіду в Information Security;
• мінімум 2 роки у FinTech / payments / iGaming або іншому high-risk середовищі;
• досвід побудови security-функції з нуля;
• практичний досвід з IAM / RBAC, MFA / 2FA та управлінням доступами;
• досвід розробки та впровадження security policies;
• досвід розслідування реальних security incidents та впровадження превентивних заходів;
• розуміння ризиків платіжного бізнесу: fraud, insider threats, API access, data leaks;
• досвід роботи з безпекою distributed / remote teams;
• розуміння OSINT, OPSEC та digital footprint;

• здатність швидко приймати рішення та брати відповідальність у кризових ситуаціях.

• Access & Device Security
  Побудова централізованого IAM / RBAC, onboarding / offboarding процесів, MFA / 2FA та контролю корпоративних доступів. Захист робочих пристроїв через VDI / Remote Desktop, encryption та MDM з можливістю remote lock / wipe.
• Infrastructure & Business Continuity
  Сегментація та захист критичної інфраструктури, контроль IP, VPN / proxy та географії входів. Побудова backup / Disaster Recovery процесів і механізмів швидкого відновлення інфраструктури при збоях.
• OPSEC & Communications Security
  Захист корпоративних каналів (Telegram, Slack, email, Discord), контроль зовнішніх доменів та мінімізація digital footprint компанії й команди.
• Monitoring & Incident Response
  Моніторинг аномальної активності та потенційних атак. Побудова incident response процесу, розслідування інцидентів, root-cause analysis та впровадження SIEM / DLP.
• OSINT & Data Leak Prevention
  Моніторинг витоків корпоративних email, паролів, доменів, IP та згадок компанії у відкритих джерелах і leak databases. Контроль внутрішніх сервісів та сховищ на потенційні витоки.
• Vendor Security & Compliance
  Оцінка ризиків сторонніх сервісів, payment gateways, merchants та API providers. Розробка практичних security policies, security awareness команди та підготовка до регуляторних вимог у нових географіях.

Також у зоні відповідальності — регулярні security-аудити, пошук нових ризиків та формування 12-місячного security roadmap.
