PayPilot

We seek a Senior DevOps Engineer / Head of Infrastructure to lead and continuously improve our infrastructure and deployment practices. This is a critical role for a growing fintech/crypto company operating on AWS with a fully containerized microservice architecture.

You’ll ensure uptime, scalability, and security across multiple environments. You’ll work closely with backend teams, security experts, and compliance to deliver a resilient infrastructure that meets the standards of regulated financial services.

This role includes participation in an on-call rotation, where you will be expected to respond quickly to incidents, mitigate issues, and improve system resilience through automation and root cause analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure (AWS) for scalable and secure deployments
• Own and manage our GitLab CI/CD pipelines, automating everything from builds to production releases
• Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform
• Ensure system observability: set up and manage logging (e.g., ELK, CloudWatch), metrics (e.g., Prometheus), and alerting (e.g., Grafana, PagerDuty)
• Maintain containerized application environments using Docker and orchestrators (preferably ECS or EKS)
• Design and implement secure and compliant infrastructure practices (networking, IAM, secrets management)
• Define and enforce SLAs, SLOs, and participate in incident management lifecycle
• Be part of the on-call rotation to respond to production incidents and ensure rapid recovery

• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve development, release, and rollback workflows

   

Requirements

• 5+ years of DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering experience
• Strong expertise in AWS core services: EC2, RDS, ALB/NLB, S3, IAM, Route53, CloudFront, Secrets Manager
• Advanced knowledge of Terraform and/or similar IaC tools
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitLab CI
• Hands-on experience with monitoring/alerting stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
• Proficient with Docker and container orchestration (ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes)
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to reliability and scalability
• Strong knowledge of Linux-based systems and scripting (Bash, Python, or similar)

• Prior experience with incident response and on-call duties

   

Nice to Have

• Experience in fintech or crypto platforms or other regulated environments
• Understanding of compliance standards like DORA, PCI DSS, SOC2, GDPR, etc.
• Experience working with active-passive failover setups and disaster recovery planning

PayPilot is a fast-growing fintech startup building the next generation of solutions for seamless B2B and B2C international payments. We're developing the product from scratch, and quality is a top priority. We're looking for a Manual QA Engineer with a strong focus on API and backend testing to join our team and help ensure stability, accuracy, and a smooth user experience from the inside out.

 What you’ll do:

• Manually test RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, Swagger, etc.
• Validate request/response formats, HTTP status codes, and backend business logic
• Identify bugs, inconsistencies, and edge cases — and report them clearly
• Write and maintain test cases, checklists, and documentation
• Work closely with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and expected behavior
• Perform regression testing of backend components
• Analyze logs, inspect database records (optionally with support), and report backend issues

• Participate in test planning and help improve overall product quality and testing processes

   

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has 2–3 years of experience in manual QA, ideally with a backend focus
• Confidently works with Postman, Swagger, JSON, and HTTP basics
• Understands REST APIs, response structures, and status codes
• Writes clear bug reports and reproductions
• Has basic SQL/logs skills or is eager to learn

• Thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment and takes initiative

   

Nice to have:

• Experience testing fintech products, banking APIs, or payment systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
• English at a level sufficient for reading docs and writing bug reports

• Побудова маркетингу з нуля: стратегія, канали, аналітика, меседжинг.
• Самостійне створення та запуск перших performance-кампаній (Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn, YouTube).
• Формування позиціонування бренду, візуального стилю та tone of voice — у співпраці з дизайнером, але з твоєї ініціативи.
• Побудова базової аналітики: воронки, конверсії, CAC, LTV.
• Тестування нових каналів: TikTok, Reddit, ком’юніті, партнерства.

• Побудова маркетинг-команди, але тільки після того, як покажемо сильні результати.

   

🧠 Що ми очікуємо від тебе

• 4+ років у маркетингу, з них хоча б 1-2 роки — у продуктовій/технологічній компанії.
• Досвід запуску маркетингу з нуля або в стартапі — обов’язково.
• Ти сам вів кампанії в Ads Manager, сам писав контент і сам рахував ефективність.
• Розуміння B2B-маркетингу та продажів буде великим плюсом.

• Англійська — не нижче B2 (у тебе буде комунікація з міжнародними партнерами).
