We are a fast-growing company building innovative AI and IoT products for the US and Canadian markets. As our product and team continue to scale, we’re looking for a Senior or Lead Fullstack Engineer who can confidently own both backend and frontend development and take a leadership role in guiding the team and product forward.

 What You’ll Do:

• Take full ownership of both backend and frontend development (approx. 50/50 split).
• Design and implement scalable APIs and backend services using Python (FastAPI).
• Build responsive and robust user interfaces using React.
• Optimize application performance on both the server and client sides.
• Participate in and lead architecture discussions, code reviews, and design sessions.
• Mentor junior developers, supporting their growth through code reviews, guidance, and best practices.
• (If Lead) Set technical direction for the team, drive key technical decisions, and align engineering efforts with product goals.
• Spend ~70% of time focused on technical execution, and ~30% on collaboration, communication, and team support.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with Python, ideally with FastAPI or similar frameworks.
• 3+ years of experience with React (React Native is a strong plus).
• Solid experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of API architecture (REST, WebSockets).
• Experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
• Proven ability to take ownership and deliver end-to-end features.
• Strong communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience as a Tech Lead or in a similar leadership role is highly desirable.
• Passion for mentoring and growing junior developers.
