We are looking for extremely strong and experienced Senior Software Developers to build next generation supply chain planning, analytics and solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Engage and learn about complex business rules related to supply chain planning

· Be involved and participate in the overall application lifecycle

· Collaborate with the development of new features, enhancements and fix existing system bugs

· Interact with BA's, QA's and other peer to clarify business requirements

· Maintain and develop back-end frameworks to build server-side software

· Database creation, integration, and management

· Analyze existing code to understand performance impact and propose solutions

· Write well-designed, scalable, and testable code

· Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.

· QA testing

· Keeping on top of new technologies

· Be able to take requirements in from business stake holders on software needs and build on them

· Support demo development activities

REQUIREMENTS

· 8+ years of experience in Java/J2EE application in development of enterprise software systems

· Proficiency in Java, SQL, Git

· Proficiency in C & PostgreSQL (including extensions) and other DBMs

· Experience in Linux/Unix

· Experience in parallel programming, distributed algorithms, distributed resource management systems

· Experience in different database technologies: in-memory, on disk, distributed in-memory caches, nosql, key value pairs, graph dbs

· Experience developing full-stack solutions on public cloud infrastructure (aws preferred)

· C++ experience a plus

· Experience in Spring Framework

· ETL knowledge is a plus

Primary Responsibilities

• Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of AWS cloud-based systems
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors
• Deploy updates and fixes
• Design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS 
• Build and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of AWS infrastructure and systems 
• Build a deployment pipeline for AWS and Salesforce 
• Provision, configure and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure defined as Terraform / Cloud formation template 
• Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
• Work collaboratively with software engineering to define infrastructure and deployment requirements 
• Ensure configuration and compliance with configuration management tools 
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux based systems 
• Troubleshoot problems across a wide array of services and functional areas 
• Improve CI/CD tooling
• Perform infrastructure cost analysis and optimization

Qualifications / Skills / Competencies

• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, Security Groups, IAM, EKS, Fargate, S3, Terraform / Cloud formation )
• Strong understanding of how to secure AWS environments and meet compliance requirements 
• Solid foundation of networking and Linux administration
• Experience with Docker, GitHub, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Terraform / Cloud formation and deploying applications on AWS 
• Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools 
• Database experience to help with monitoring and performance; PostgreSql experience preferred 
• ​​Strong documentation skills
• Understanding Scrum (Agile) principles and hands-on experience.
• Peer review and the best practices of Git repository code management
• Experience with SOC2 audits
• AWS certification preferred
