Role:

As an ML Engineer at NineTwoThree, you will be at the forefront of integrating and optimizing ML technologies into our diverse range of projects. Your role involves researching, developing, and implementing machine learning models, particularly focusing on language models like GPT-4, and ensuring their seamless integration with our clients' applications.

Technology Stack:

• Transformer models.
• RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
• ReAct and LangChain for language model applications.
• Supervised and Unsupervised ML.
• Vector databases.
• AWS for cloud computing and machine learning services.
• Familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain advanced machine learning models, particularly focusing on natural language processing and understanding.
• Implement and optimize ML solutions for various client applications.
• Work closely with the development team to integrate AI models into existing systems.
• Experiment with new models and techniques to improve performance and capabilities.
• Participate in code reviews, maintain high coding standards, and contribute to our internal knowledge base.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in AI and machine learning.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Machine Learning fundamentals.
• Background in integrating ML models into data-driven systems.
• Experience with Python and SQL, along with expertise in NLP and LLMs.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and problem domains.
• Familiarity with ML deployment and monitoring.
• Proven experience in machine learning and natural language processing.
• An understanding of general LLM architecture and limitations, as well as features of modern LLMs.
• Experience with cloud computing services, preferably AWS.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Fluent in English for effective collaboration with our international team.

Additionally, ML Engineer may be required to attend calls with clients from West Coast, where the latest call might be scheduled at 12 PM PST. We always strive to schedule meetings earlier in the day whenever possible.

What You’ll Do:
 

Lead, not just code — Seniors at NineTwoThree don’t just write great code—they lead projects, guide teams, and ensure execution quality:
 

• Connect the dots between product vision, technical feasibility, and business needs.
• Communicate options, trade-offs, costs, and timelines clearly to both our team and client.
• Lead projects end-to-end — from technical strategy to execution.
• Architect solutions and apply best practices for scalable, AI-powered products.
• Guide and mentor engineers, ensuring quality while delivering fast.
• Translate business needs into technical decisions, explaining trade-offs and timelines.
• Solve hard problems, direct implementation, and coordinate technical challenges with clients
   

Who We’re Looking For:

True senior engineers — not just people with years of experience, but those who own solutions and drive execution.
 

• 5+ years of experience in Full Stack Software Development (React, Node.js, SQL)
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Clear and thorough understanding of design patterns and software development best practices
• Great communicators who can explain options, trade-offs, and technical details to clients and teams.
• Ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks;
• Passion maintaining code style and standards and holding people accountable;
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture;
• Experience with React.js, Node.js, JavaScript and Typescript (at least 5 years);
• RESTful API design and implementation;
• OAuth and single sign-on (SAML);
• Leaders who ensure execution quality, push teams forward, and keep projects on track.
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Relational and no-SQL databases — MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis etc;
• Solid understanding of principles of JavaScript/TypeScript languages
• Ability to freely express/present/discuss ideas in English (B2-C1 level)
• Flexibility with working hours to participate in meetings with Eastern USA.

What You’ll Do

• Drive 2-3 projects in the active stage from start to finish and deliver value to our customers.
• Define project requirements and deliverables, plan and manage their execution, monitoring and adjustments.
• Interpretation of business requirements to the technical team and vice versa. Estimating development efforts.
• Participating in customer calls, providing a project update to the customer.
• Organizing and keeping up-to-date Project boards. Documenting tasks: timeline, user stories and developer's tasks incl. detailed Acceptance Criteria.
• Coordinating the development teams including QA and designers.
• Testing the system before the release.
• Taking full responsibility and ownership for project delivery. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or bottlenecks, and proactively address them
• Helping in onboarding newcomers and mentoring Junior PMs.
  
   

Who We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of managing software development projects (Web and Mobile, AI/ML will be a plus).
• IT-background (technical understanding of web and mobile application development).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to communicate effectively with customers and project teams.
• Experience in managing project in Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Knowledge of business analysis and process description, incl use cases, user stories, visual thinking/drawing.
• Experience in distributed teams management.
• Manual testing experience.
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a dynamic project environment.
• Attention to details.

• Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher.

What You’ll Do

• Contribute to preparing project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Organize and maintain project boards to keep tasks visible and updated.
• Track project progress to ensure all deadlines are met, escalating issues when necessary.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting notes, status reports, and project schedules.
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings to ensure team alignment and address blockers.
• Collaborate with senior team members to balance trade-offs between scope, schedule, and quality.
• Test the system or product features before releases to confirm they meet acceptance criteria and quality standards.
• Serve as a communication link between the development team and the Product Manager or Senior Project Manager.
• Ensure stakeholders receive timely updates and clarity on project progress, scope changes, and potential delays.
• Work with senior PMs and the development team to estimate effort and resource requirements.

Who We’re Looking For

• At least 1 year of experience managing software development projects.
• Basic understanding of web-application development.
• Proficient in English (Upper-Intermediate level or higher).
• Understanding of Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban).
• Theoretical knowledge of user stories and user flow drawing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Successfully completed IT PM courses.
• Desire to understand how the apps are built in details.
