If you build clean, secure, scalable APIs and love making systems talk reliably, read on.
What you’ll do
- Design & build integrations on Anypoint Platform (API-led connectivity, Experience/Process/System APIs).
- Model & document APIs using RAML/OpenAPI, publish to Exchange, manage with API Manager (policies, rate limits, SLAs).
- Transform data with DataWeave 2.x; design resilient flows (batch, streaming, pub/sub, request–reply, scatter–gather).
- Harden & observe: implement OAuth2/JWT/TLS, secrets management, secure properties; monitor with Anypoint Monitoring/Runtime Manager.
- Handle failures the right way: On-Error scopes, retries/backoff, idempotency, dead-lettering, structured logging and correlation IDs.
- Ship with confidence: write MUnit tests, automate CI/CD (Maven + Git/Jenkins/GitHub Actions), deploy to CloudHub/CloudHub 2.0.
- Optimize for throughput/latency; profile memory/threads; cache where it makes sense.
- Partner up with BAs/architects/stakeholders; turn requirements into robust integration contracts and SLAs.
- Document flows, mappings, and runbooks that others can actually use.
What you’ll bring
- 4+ years building on MuleSoft (we’ll consider strong 2–3 years if you’ve shipped production workloads end-to-end).
- Solid API design (REST, pagination, versioning, error models) and integration patterns.
- Hands-on with Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, CloudHub (1.0/2.0), Object Store v2, Anypoint MQ.
- Strong DataWeave, MUnit, and CI/CD fundamentals.
- Security first mindset (OAuth2, mTLS, secrets, policy design).
- Clear communicator; can explain trade-offs and keep work moving in Agile/Scrumban teams.
Nice to have
- MuleSoft Developer/Architect certifications.
- Experience with VPC/peering, custom load balancers, and multi-env promotion.
- Exposure to Salesforce, SAP, NetSuite, Kafka, or other enterprise systems.
- Observability stacks (logs/metrics/traces) beyond default Anypoint tools.
How we work
- Remote-first, async-friendly with core hours for key time-zone overlap (EU).
- Lightweight process, weekly delivery cadence, strong code reviews.
- You’ll get ownership, clear scope, and support from senior engineers and architects.
Benefits
- Opportunity to work on cutting-edge integration projects.
- Career growth and development opportunities.
- Collaborative and innovative work environment.
We’re an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to an inclusive workplace.
