We are looking for an experienced Deliverability Manager to own and optimize email deliverability across our high-volume newsletter portfolio. This is a highly technical, hands-on role where you will be responsible for ensuring millions of emails reach subscribers'

Requirements
Must Have
• Agency-side deliverability experience managing multiple client projects with tailored
strategies for different audiences, sending infrastructures, and deliverability challenges.
• OR experience as a Deliverability Manager or Email Marketer within gambling, casino,
affiliate, or similarly high-volume performance marketing environments.
• Experience managing 200,000–300,000 email sends per day on a single project (not
aggregated across multiple clients).
• Strong experience building audience segments, automations, lifecycle journeys, and
analyzing subscriber behavior.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve sender reputation issues, inbox placement problems, and
declining open rates.
• Creative and non-linear problem-solving skills, with the ability to test multiple

Role Overview

This is a hands-on, execution-driven role working directly with the Head of Project. You'll take new projects, tools, and features from zero-to-one — researching them, testing them, and handing them off to whoever will own them long-term. It's not a coordination or people-management role: we need someone energized by figuring out something new, who builds systems and documentation as they go rather than managing a team.

The Marketing Operations Manager drives the execution of marketing initiatives across newsletters, paid media, social, and growth. Acting as the link between strategy and execution, they coordinate cross-functional projects, optimize marketing processes, and ensure initiatives are delivered on time and to a high standard.

Partnering closely with the email Marketers, you will drive newsletter growth and engagement.

3. Newsletter Health & Performance Monitoring

• Monitor newsletter health, growth, send consistency, segmentation, metrics accuracy, and unsubscribes
• Flag open rate drops, bounce issues, missing promo, or stalled development early
• Ensure marketers complete initial troubleshooting before escalating; review their proposed solution first
• Bring leadership a structured case with context, findings, and recommended next steps — not a raw problem
• Document approved fixes into SOPs and follow up until implemented

4. Broader Marketing Coordination

• Coordinate paid, social, and growth initiatives alongside newsletters — keeping the full marketing picture aligned
• Translate marketing priorities into clear, actionable plans with owners, deadlines, and defined outputs
• Identify where marketing efforts overlap, conflict, or leave gaps, and resolve with structure
• Support campaign launches, content pushes, and growth experiments with tight, reliable execution

5. Process, Systems & Reporting

• Build and maintain project management infrastructure: trackers, status cadences, dependency maps, documentation
• Create repeatable SOPs for recurring project types so the team executes consistently
• Maintain dashboards and trackers that reflect the true status of every initiative at all times
• Provide regular, tight status updates that give clarity without drowning the team in detail

6. Team Leadership & Development

• Run team problem-solving sessions, case reviews, and execution reviews without leadership involvement

• Ensure every triggered workflow has an owner, a next action, and a follow-up — not just a notification
• Prevent marketers from completing their part and going idle when the process still needs to move
• Track newsletter growth milestones; follow up when promo, QA, or partner actions are missed or delayed
• Track paused newsletters: reason, start date, and resumption conditions
• Reopen delayed items and surface blockers when progress stalls

8. AI & Smart Tooling

• Use AI tools to accelerate project planning, research, content coordination, and reporting
• Build AI into the marketing project workflow as a genuine operational advantage
• Continuously track new AI and automation tools and bring the useful ones into the operation
• Raise AI fluency across the marketing team — model the behaviour and document the processes

9. Quality Control & Escalation

• Act as the first review layer — validate issues, prior attempts, and solutions before escalating
• Review drafts, solutions, and tasks before they move to designers or approval; ensure work is execution-ready
• Review AI writer output; flag quality patterns with specific examples and follow up on fixes
• Track designer tasks and follow up on delays; confirm completed work moves into execution without sitting idle
• Confirm subscriber inboxes are actively monitored; ensure responses and unsubscribes are actioned promptly

We are building and scaling a high-volume, performance-driven newsletter portfolio and we are looking for a Senior Email Marketing Manager to fully own newsletter growth, engagement, retention, and monetization. This is a role for someone who understands newsletters as a revenue channel, not just a publishing task — and who is driven to make ours the best in their categories, beating every competitor on engagement and quality.

You will work closely with writers and designers to ensure every send is optimized for opens, clicks, retention, and revenue while maintaining strong editorial quality. You will also own the part of this that most people get wrong: deliverability. 

Your primary mission: own 7 to 10 newsletters to start, drive their engagement and retention to best-in-class levels, and scale the portfolio beyond that as you prove the model. This is an IC role with room to build a team around you as the portfolio grows. We are looking for a proactive contributor who is comfortable pushing the limits — someone who is not satisfied matching the competition but determined to beat it. If you treat email as a growth engine and you have the deliverability chops to protect it at scale, this role was built for you.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

Engagement, retention, and newsletter performance

• Own engagement and retention as the primary KPIs of the role — opens, clicks, and active subscriber rates are what you live and die by
• Own end-to-end newsletter strategy, publishing, and optimization across the full portfolio, starting with 7 to 10 properties
• Relentlessly find new ways to make our newsletters the best in their categories — study what competitors do, then do it better, and find the angles they have not thought of
• Optimize subject lines, preheaders, layouts, CTAs, and content flow against engagement, retention, and revenue
• Build and run retention programs that keep subscribers active and reduce churn over the full subscriber lifecycle
• Maintain consistent, high-quality publishing schedules across every newsletter — nothing slips, nothing goes out late
• Review, QA, and approve all outgoing content before it sends — zero tolerance for broken links, typos, or formatting errors

Deliverability and sender reputation

• Own deliverability end to end — inbox placement, sender scores, bounce management, and domain health across all sending infrastructure
• Monitor deliverability at the ISP level: know the rules and thresholds of each major provider, watch complaint rates independently per ISP, and pause or throttle sends by ISP when the data demands it
• Manage sending domains, IP pools, warm-up schedules, and authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) with precision — no cowboy sends, no shortcuts
• Diagnose and resolve deliverability issues yourself before they become crises — authentication failures, spam trap exposure, blacklisting, FBL complaints — without deferring to platform support
• Use engagement data to protect inbox placement: know when to use openers versus clickers, how to manage sending to engaged versus dormant segments, and how to keep reputation strong across a high-volume portfolio
• Stay ahead of inbox provider algorithm changes and compliance shifts that affect delivery
• Where cold email is used for growth or partnerships, keep it on completely separate infrastructure from newsletter sending — protecting warm deliverability is non-negotiable

List health and hygiene

• Own list quality as a strategic asset across all properties — suppression management, re-engagement campaigns, sunset policies, and ongoing hygiene
• Design and execute re-engagement programs that recover dormant subscribers without damaging sender reputation in the process
• Build segmentation logic that ensures the right messages reach the right subscribers at the right time
• Set clear quality thresholds for subscriber health and act on them — know when to clean and have the discipline to do it

Monetization and advertising

• Integrate ads natively within newsletters to maximize CTR and revenue without harming reader trust
• Test ad placements, formats, and messaging continuously — and know exactly where the line is between revenue and reader fatigue
• Analyze monetization performance across the portfolio and continuously improve the strategy based on what the data shows
• Work closely with monetization partners to package inventory and report performance accurately and credibly
• Track revenue per send and revenue per subscriber as core metrics, not afterthoughts

Growth, experimentation, and best-in-class quality

• Proactively push the limits of what the newsletters can do — test new formats, content angles, engagement mechanics, and growth tactics that competitors are not trying
• Develop and test non-standard engagement formats — polls, surveys, interactive elements, reader feedback loops — and measure their impact on retention and list health
• Benchmark against the best newsletters in each category and set the standard higher — the goal is to be the best, not to keep pace

Editorial standards and compliance

• Own editorial and content-standards compliance across the portfolio — ensure every send meets the quality, accuracy, and brand standards expected of a best-in-class newsletter
• Maintain consistent editorial guidelines across all properties and enforce them as the portfolio scales
• Catch content issues — factual, tonal, formatting, or brand — before they ship, not after

Scaling, processes, and collaboration

• Collaborate closely with writers and designers to keep the portfolio publishing at a high standard
• Build repeatable processes, guidelines, and quality standards that let the operation scale beyond the initial 7 to 10 newsletters without quality slipping
• Use AI tools to accelerate content production, QA, and analysis across a high volume of sends

We are looking for a Deliverability Manager to take full ownership of inbox placement across our newsletter operation. You will work directly with the Head of Project and our production manager, and guide our marketers on every decision that touches deliverability — from infrastructure and authentication to content, segmentation, and sending strategy. We send millions of emails a day to cold audiences, and getting into the inbox is the difference between revenue and noise.

This is a hands-on, deeply technical role for someone who lives and breathes deliverability. You will not be directing a team to do the work. You will be in the DNS, in the headers, in the seed data, and in the postmaster tools yourself. The marketers will lean on you for direction, and you will be the final word on what we do with our sending infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Own inbox placement, sender reputation, and deliverability performance across all
domains, IPs, and ESPs
• Monitor sender reputation across major mailbox providers
• Conduct seed testing and inbox placement analysis
• Investigate and resolve deliverability incidents
• Manage SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and BIMI
• Plan IP and domain warming strategies
• Maintain Google Postmaster Tools, Microsoft SNDS, and feedback loops
• Design and optimize multi-ESP infrastructure
• Lead ESP migrations
• Optimize cold audience deliverability and list hygiene
• Advise marketers on deliverability best practices

• Build dashboards, alerts, and reporting

Requirements

Must Have

• Agency-side deliverability experience managing multiple client projects with tailored
strategies for different audiences, sending infrastructures, and deliverability challenges.
• OR experience as a Deliverability Manager or Email Marketer within gambling, casino,
affiliate, or similarly high-volume performance marketing environments.
• Experience managing 200,000–300,000 email sends per day on a single project (not
aggregated across multiple clients).
• Strong experience building audience segments, automations, lifecycle journeys, and
analyzing subscriber behavior.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve sender reputation issues, inbox placement problems, and
declining open rates.
• Creative and non-linear problem-solving skills, with the ability to test multiple
hypotheses and identify unconventional solutions.
• Excellent English communication skills (C1+).
Nice to Have

• Recent experience (within the last 12 months) managing Yahoo deliverability at
volumes exceeding 50,000 emails per day.

Key Responsibilities

• Marketing Project Execution — Drive initiatives from brief to completion across newsletters, paid, social, and growth, managing timelines, owners, and dependencies across parallel workstreams.
• Newsletter Leadership & Performance — Partner with the email team to drive newsletter growth end to end, and monitor performance to surface issues early.
• Process, Systems & Reporting — Build and maintain the trackers, cadences, and SOPs that keep the team executing consistently, with clear visibility into every initiative.
• Team Leadership & Development — Lead problem-solving and reviews, run calibrated check-ins, and coach the team to bring solutions, not just problems.
• Quality Control & Follow-Through — Act as the first review layer, validating work before it progresses, and keep every initiative moving through to completion.

Requirements

Must Have

• 5+ years in project management, with direct experience running marketing initiatives
• Marketing fluency: you understand how newsletters, paid, social, and growth work, and can contribute to strategy
• Proven ability to manage multiple marketing workstreams simultaneously without dropping quality
• Experience building and rolling out project management processes and SOPs across a team
• Hands-on AI tool use in your daily work (hard requirement) — you use them to move faster and can describe exactly how
• Strong problem-solving: root cause analysis, structured thinking, clear recommendations
• Clear, structured communication — updates, escalations, and feedback are always actionable
• Ownership mindset: you follow through, remove blockers, and drive progress without supervision
• Organisational precision across multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders at once

• Excellent written and verbal English (C1 or above)

• Hands-on campaign experience — having run campaigns, not just managed the people who did
