As a Senior Data Engineer, working alongside StellarsTech, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the product’s data infrastructure. You will design and build scalable data solutions, optimize data pipelines, and enhance the Snowflake-based platform—directly impacting millions of customers worldwide.
What You’ll Do:
As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll design and optimize data pipelines, warehouses, and cloud-based solutions to help the product team make faster, smarter financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and loading into Snowflake.
✔ Write Python scripts to automate workflows and enhance data efficiency.
✔ Optimize Snowflake performance to ensure speed, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
✔ Integrate data with cloud platforms (preferably GCP) and cloud storage solutions.
✔ Design and implement data models for warehousing and analytics.
✔ Ensure data quality, security, and compliance across all systems.
✔ Collaborate with analysts, scientists, and business leaders to drive impactful insights.
What You Need to Succeed:
✅ 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
✅ Strong expertise in Python and SQL (5+ years).
✅ 2+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake (total 5+ years of database experience).
✅ Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools (Airflow preferred).
✅ Experience working with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
✅ Deep understanding of data warehousing, performance tuning, and best practices.
✅ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
