Behind every well-labeled dataset is a system that must be stable, secure, and scalable — and that’s where you come in, joining us in a part-time DevOps Engineer role to help maintain and improve our infrastructure.
👨💻 What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintaining and administering Linux (Ubuntu) servers
- Automating infrastructure setup and configuration with Ansible
- Working with Docker (images, containers, networks, volumes)
- Monitoring system performance and planning resource usage
- Setting up and maintaining monitoring and alerting (Grafana)
- Managing backups, recovery processes, and system updates
- Applying security best practices and handling vulnerabilities
- Automating routine tasks with scripts
- Documenting infrastructure and collaborating with development teams to support deployments and CI/CD workflows
🛠️ What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience with Linux administration (Ubuntu), Ansible and Docker
- Confident use of Git for managing infrastructure code
- Understanding of server performance monitoring and resource management
- Experience with backup and recovery procedures
- Knowledge of basic infrastructure security practices
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Grafana)
- Ability to write scripts (Bash, Python, or similar)
➕ Nice to Have
- Experience with Docker Compose or Kubernetes
- Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines
