About

Our client is developing a suite of applications that help automotive manufacturers and engineering teams manage complex vehicle systems. 

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship new features across four existing full-stack web applications
• Write and maintain backend services in Golang (Java/Python engineers welcome, with transition to Golang)
• Develop and improve frontend interfaces using React + TypeScript
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across the stack
• Collaborate with the product engineering team (3 engineers) and the automotive manufacturer’s engineering team (1–2 engineers)
• Participate in weekly stand-ups, weekly demos, and 3-week stakeholder reviews

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• C1+ English communication skills (required for client interactions)
• Strong full-stack capabilities: React + TypeScript frontend, backend in Golang (or Java/Python with willingness to work in Golang)
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL)
• Proficiency with Git and Docker
• Strong problem-solving skills, code quality standards, and collaborative mindset
• Ability to solve problems without AI (deep engineering mindset 🔥)

Nice to have

• German language skills - big plus
• Azure experience - bonus

 Full-Stack Engineer (React + TypeScript / Golang) — Remote

We’re looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to join our team and help build and improve internal web applications for vehicle systems analysis and management. You’ll work on impactful tools used by engineering teams to validate, deploy, and analyze changes to complex automotive systems - no embedded or in-vehicle software involved.

• Feature Development (Full-Stack)
• Build new features across 4 existing full-stack web applications
• No embedded / in-vehicle software work required
• Example projects:
• Tool to analyze the “blast radius” of failures or component changes in vehicle architecture
• Tool to manage release & deployment processes
• Tool to estimate validation effort for system changes
• Bug Fixing & Improvements
• Debug, maintain, and improve existing functionality
• Ensure stability and performance across applications
• Potential Ad-hoc Work
• 4th app: ingest / analyze / generate reports of vehicle incidents (lower priority)

Technical Landscape

• 4 full-stack web apps
• Shared GitHub repo with OEM
• Dockerized apps, deployed on Azure Cloud
• Stack:
• Frontend: React + TypeScript
• Backend: Golang (Java / Python / NodeJS also acceptable)
• Database: PostgreSQL
