We’re currently looking for a Full Stack Engineer (Node.js / AWS / React Native) to lead critical parts of our backend infrastructure and help us move faster by supporting feature development.

We are looking for a senior engineer because speed is a priority for us -- we're a small team and want to move quickly. We will provide you with the full support needed to ramp up but for many of the upcoming projects you will need to own the features and you cannot rely on having 1:1 direct support.

We are using AWS serverless with Lambda functions. Extensive experience using APIs and Lambda functions is extremely important.

What You’ll Do

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs using Node.js and AWS serverless services (Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB).
• Drive end-to-end feature development—from backend logic and data modeling to user-facing functionality—with attention to performance, reliability, and security.
• Work closely with product, design, and mobile teams to shape user experiences and define system architecture.
• Own and drive technical decisions, ensuring clean, maintainable code and scalable solutions.
• Establish best practices, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers across the stack.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in backend development, with strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with AWS serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, Cognito, S3).
• Solid understanding of REST API design, backend performance optimization, and scalable infrastructure.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases (especially DynamoDB).
• Familiar with modern development practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment with a high degree of autonomy and ownership.
• Fluent in English.
