You will play a key role in driving user-centric design, ensuring clear documentation, and refining product requirements. Additionally, you’ll have the freedom to expand responsibilities in areas such as product metrics, customer development, and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Translate client needs and raw information into clear, actionable tasks for developers and designers
- Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows (using UML, BPMN, or similar), and technical specifications
- Participate in or facilitate grooming sessions, collaborating with the team and stakeholders to refine requirements and incorporate feedback
- Perform acceptance testing to ensure deliverables meet requirements and quality standards
- Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously (typically 2), working within small teams at a steady pace
- Support pre-project phases by gathering and organising information about the client’s business domain, workflows, and functional and non-functional requirements for the product
- Enhance team performance by applying business analysis expertise, promoting best practices, advocating user-centric design, and driving process improvements
Requirements
- 2+ years in business analysis or a related role
- Proven ability to elicit, document, and manage requirements, including user stories, acceptance criteria, user flows, and system documentation
- Capability to work with unstructured requirements to derive actionable tasks for developers and designers, knowledge of decomposition techniques
- Analytical mindset with excellent technical writing and design-thinking skills
- Familiarity with modelling techniques such as UML and BPMN
- Understanding of SDLC methodologies and software architecture principles
- Good communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills
- Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, FigJam, Google Docs
Nice-to-Have- Experience working on pre-project phases, including developing solution concepts and prototypes
- Understanding of microservice and monolithic architectures
- Basic knowledge of SQL; understanding of how data is structured, stored, and processed in databases
- Understanding of system integrations, including the ability to identify dependencies and constraints
- Ability to document and test API calls using tools like Postman
