Job Description:

We're hiring Strong Junior-Middle Manual QA engineer to join our growing software company that specialises in creating addons for Atlassian Jira and Confluence. At the moment we want to extend our Atlassian Cloud App team.

Requirements:

— Software testing experience of 1-2 years or more;

— Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC);

— Experience in creating/maintaining test documentation (checklists, test cases, bug reports);

— Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality testing activities;

— Experience with JIRA/Confluence;

— Strong communication and collaboration skills for working effectively with engineering teams;

— Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;

— Excellent learning abilities;

— Responsible, detail-oriented, self-motivated in investigating problems and finding the root cause;

— Intermediate level of English or higher.

Would be a plus:

— Experience in using Atlassian Software(JIRA/Confluence);

— Experience in using Gherkin language;

— Familiar with Agile Methodologies(SCRUM);

— Networking — how does Internet work, protocols;

— Basic SQL knowledge (writing simple requests).

Responsibilities:

— Manual test cases in  Gherkin language, execution of test cases;

— Preparation of testing results and processing of outstanding issues in collaboration with QA Coach;

— Perform different levels of testing such as regression testing, sanity testing, smoke testing etc;

— Maintain test documentation;

— Bug reporting and verification;

— Report progress of work to QA Coach on a daily basis;

— Constant self-improvement.
