Specialist for Advanced Work on Supplements Website (Stripe Knowledge a Plus)

About the role:
We’re looking for an experienced SEO professional to help us optimize a  supplements e-commerce website. This is not basic SEO — you’ll be navigating selective indexing, category/page suppression, and ensuring compliance with tricky verticals like nootropics and supplements.

What you’ll do:
✅ Review & refine our SEO strategy based on a technical audit
✅ Help us carefully manage what gets indexed vs. no-indexed (product, category & blog levels).
✅ Work on sitemap structure, internal linking, and canonical tags.
✅ Optimize product & category pages for better discoverability without breaching compliance risks.
✅ Coordinate with developers on structured data (schema) and JS-delayed content (like Stripe payment flows)
✅ Potential content planning for low-risk blog topics to safely drive organic traffic.

Bonus:
Knowledge of Stripe compliance and SEO risks around payment processing (as our audit mentions JS-gated Stripe checkout) is a big plus.

Requirements:

• Proven experience doing advanced technical SEO — not just on-page keywords.
• Understanding of e-commerce sites, especially supplements, nootropics, or similarly regulated industries.
• Comfortable auditing robots.txt, meta robots, XML sitemaps, and canonical strategies.
• Can advise on cloaking vs. legitimate content obfuscation, structured data, and multi-language sites.
• Excellent communicator who documents what they’re doing and why.
