We are seeking an experienced Head of Investor Relations to join our team!

This role is focused on originating, developing, and closing relationships with high-value capital allocators, primarily family offices and ultra-high-net-worth investors. The ideal candidate is a proven rainmaker with a strong track record of raising significant capital and bringing their own network to the platform.

Core Responsibilities

• Build and manage direct relationships with:

• Family offices
• Ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWI)
• Sophisticated private investors and capital allocators
• Originate and convert new investor relationships into active allocations on the platform
• Lead allocator conversations from first contact through allocation decision
• Own and continuously develop a high-quality pipeline of new capital sources (not existing/internal leads)
• Drive capital commitments into:
  • Private market opportunities
  • Secondaries and private credit
• Coordinate with product and investment teams to match allocator demand with opportunities
• Represent GammaPrime in investor meetings, conferences, and private capital introductions
• Focus on investors with ticket sizes of $1M–$50M+ requiring high-expertise handling
• Represent GammaPrime in allocator meetings, conferences, and closed-door capital introductions
• Operate in a fast-paced, high-performance environment with strong emphasis on results
• Ability to travel internationally, including to the United States; candidates should be eligible to obtain an ESTA or hold a visa that allows business travel to the U.S.

Required Background:

Candidates must have:

• 7–12 years of work experience in capital raising, fund placement or distribution for:

• Hedge funds
• Venture capital funds
• Private equity or alternative asset managers

• Direct experience selling to professional allocators (not retail)
• An existing, active network of allocators (family offices, UHNWI, sophisticated investors) that can be leveraged immediately

• Strong experience in originating new relationships (not just managing inbound or existing clients)

• Prior roles at one or more of the following:

• Placement agents
• Private market investment platforms
• Private banks / UHNW desks
• Alternative asset managers (IR / distribution)

• Demonstrated capital raised:

Minimum €/$50m cumulative across prior roles

• Deep understanding of private markets, including private equity, private credit, and secondaries

• Ability to articulate:

• Allocator decision processes
• Ticket sizes
• Investment committee dynamics

Requirements

•1+ years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships, Finance, or a related role

•Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English

•Experience in Traditional Finance (TradFi) (e.g., banking, investment firms, consulting, fintech)

•Basic understanding of or strong interest in crypto/Web3 (professional experience is a plus, but not required)

•Solid understanding of financial markets and investment landscape

•Experience communicating with partners, investors, and stakeholders

•Strong research and analytical skills (market research, deal evaluation)

•Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and work in a fast-paced environment

•Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

•Manage and maintain deal flow, including sourcing and evaluating opportunities

•Conduct market research across both crypto (Web3) and traditional finance markets

•Assist with event-related activities, including networking and follow-ups

•Represent the company externally when needed

•Be open to occasional travel for events and conferences
