    The Role:

    We have been developing products for Wall Street for the last 12 years. We grow increasingly, and our products help attract more than $30 billion of financing monthly.

    The head office is in NY. The development office in Kyiv has operated for the last 8 years and comprises 100+ specialists across 10 Agile, DevOps, and Architect teams.

    We are looking for a Product Owner to join our talented team and contribute to the success of our products.

    Position Overview: The Product Owner (PO) plays a pivotal role within our Agile Teams, responsible for maximizing the delivered value for our customers and advocating for the product vision within the teams. The PO’s mission is to ensure that the Agile Teams are aligned with business goals and deliver high-value outputs consistently.

     

     

    Key requirements:

    - Understanding of common product development processes and Agile methodologies.

    - 3+ years of experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

    - 1.5+ years of experience in a Product Owner role.

    - Proficient in both English and Ukrainian (interview is in English).

    - Has previously worked with third-party PM tools (YouTrack, Jira, Figma, etc.).

    - Understanding Git workflows and Release management best practices.

     

     

    Would be a plus:

    - Working experience in the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment, utilizing its principles and practices.

    - Has experience managing products within the financial space.

    - Has worked with similar technical stacks so understands some of the necessary development workflows.

    - Understands and can demonstrate the use of relevant charting (Burndown, Cumulative Flow, etc.).

    - Proficient in Office tools (Word and Excel).

    - Certifications in Product Management/Product Ownership.

     

     

    Key responsibilities:

    - Backlog prioritization and delivery:

    • Manage and prioritize the team backlog, define acceptance criteria for User Stories, prioritize features, and keep the backlog healthy and manageable.
    • Inspect and accept user stories delivered during Sprints/Iterations, gather feedback, analyze it, and transform it into Backlog Items.
    • Lead Backlog Refinement process. Utilize product knowledge and mentorship to guide developer confidence in estimations provided in order to challenge and support predictability across the team.

    - Collaboration:

    • Maximize the value delivered by the Agile team through effective task support, ticket management, knowledge sharing, and defining clear acceptance criteria.
    • Provide daily guidance to the Agile team to ensure development aligns with the highest-value outputs and Sprint goals, participating in Daily Standups and ongoing communication.
    • Communicate with sales and support team members as stakeholders when it is needed.
    • Collaborate with the agile team and support team in incident’s investigation, resolution, and release.

    - Business Domain knowledge:

    • Daily communication with the product team (US located) to gather information about business and client use cases. Roadmap awareness. The goal is to build close to 100% understanding of how business works, what is coming next from development standpoint, and what business decisions are based on.
    • Business knowledge support for developers. The goal is to be able to answer most of questions about business, that developers might have.

    - Processes Enhancement:

    • Utilize SAFe principles and practices to support the agile development process and promote alignment across teams.
    • Foster team’s product mindset — the ability to solve problems and challenge given solutions through better understanding of the goals of the product and business.
    • Take part in teaching team and implementation of new product development processes, where appropriate.
