We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to a project focused on building robust data solutions within the Azure cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure data services, Databricks, and ETL pipeline development.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
- Build and optimize data storage and processing solutions within Azure (Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage).
- Develop Spark code (Python/Scala) for data transformation and analysis in Databricks.
- Implement data modeling and data warehousing solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for data engineering processes.
Qualifications:
- Must-have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- Extensive experience with Azure data services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage).
- Strong experience with Databricks and PySpark.
- Proficiency in Python and/or Scala.
- Solid SQL skills.
- Experience in ETL development and data warehousing.
- Nice-to-have:
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate).
- Experience with other Big Data technologies.
- DevOps experience.
- Financial industry experience.
